Day 2 — Trust the Paint Five minutes isn’t a lot of time… and that’s exactly why this works. Today isn’t about control or perfect details. It’s about letting the watercolor do what it naturally wants to do. When time is short, you don’t have space to overthink every mark — you simply place the pigment down and watch it move. Notice how the colors blend on their own. How edges soften. How unexpected textures appear without forcing them. Try to resist fixing or fussing. A few intentional touches are enough. Then step back and let the water and pigment finish the conversation for you. Sometimes the most beautiful moments happen when we do less and allow ourselves to be surprised. Paint quickly. Stay curious. Be in awe of what the paint creates.
