3/27/2026- Recorded Live Replay: 5 Minute Friday (Patreon)

Morning friends ☀️

We hopped on live today for our 5 Minute Friday and painted a couple of quick studies—just about 5 minutes each. The first one took on a life of its own and turned into a waterfall (thanks, Ellen… I love when that happens!).

Side note: Remind me for next Friday to see if I can change it to horizontal so it's easier to see on the replay.

We also played around with a blending medium to slow down the drying time a bit. It’s new to me, so I’m still figuring out how much to use, but it definitely gives you a little more breathing room to soften edges and blend.

I don’t usually struggle with fast drying since I tend to paint pretty quickly, but if you like taking your time and easing into those transitions, this might be something fun to experiment with.

Replay is up—go take a peek and paint along when you’ve got a few minutes 💛

Can't wait to see yours. You can post them in our closed Member Chat section.

Have a great weekend!
