Here is today’s 5 Minute Friday warm-up replay! We painted this dreamy, loose sunset together using quick brushstrokes, soft blends, and intuitive layering.

Remember — these little studies aren’t about perfection. They’re about loosening up, warming up our creativity, and learning to let the watercolor do its thing without overthinking every step 😊

Each painting turns out a little different, and that’s part of the magic.

If your colors got muddy or things felt rushed, don’t worry — that’s all part of the practice too. The more we do these quick studies, the more confident and relaxed we become with water, color, and timing.

Oh, and these new Meeden brushes have been a challenge for me. See, I'm learning something new too, and had too much water on my brush!

And remember — since this is a replay, feel free to pause, slow down, or rewatch sections as many times as you’d like while you paint along.
