Well they are likely diehards who are already playing the final edition of the game. Someone on Reddit said what if his 1K members are like a secret society who he keeps under wraps and allows to play the game due to their loyalty, but us $1-$25 members have to wait and wait.

I get it. I do. I want to play this game pretty bad myself. I believe it’s coming this month before the end of the month. For all we know, the $1000 patrons have it already and we’re waiting due to not being them.

What I don't understand is that so many are still Patreon and throw the money after him. Close the money tap and you'll see how quickly it's done.....the delaying tactic has been going on for years....:-)
