Whew! Made it, if only just barely! Sorry about the last-minute release folks, Easter weekend took a lot more out of me than expected, and I only just got the edits finished for this like 20 minutes ago. Still, it's a solid set of chapters that I'm happy with, and technically it's on the usual release date :-p. Very technically...

Anyway, the release is 14,500 words, which seems to be an annoying theme this month. But, much like the others that have taken just shy of my technical 'target word count' it was simply a case of where the story ended naturally. If I'd have had enough time, I'd have cheerfully written another chapter and gone over target rather than under. But, well, that hasn't been the case this month.

Regardless, we get quite a few different perspectives, some more encounters with Shaak Ti to start building the potential up there (since she's currently winning this round of the relationship poll). Some progress for Celeste's quest to find the Sith in the background, a reveal about the Trade Federation that's going to cause consternation in certain people, and more...

As always, the new bits of story are attached here in various formats, and I'll be updating the Master Files in the Pinned Post shortly. There will also be a fair few Author's Notes in the comments, once I have some time to write them up! Enjoy more of Displaced Hero!

Chapter 79 A/N: This chapter essentially exists to show the back-and-forth that the Hutts and the League have currently settled into. Both sides are preparing bigger moves, but doing their best to harass and weaken each other in the process. The Hutts, in particular, have ways to do this that reach outside Hutt Space by trying to cut the supply lines between Tythe and Hutt Space. There are plenty of pirates who don't want anything to do with attacking the League's fleet, that would happily tackle a convoy instead...

Chapter 80 A/N 1: So, oddly enough, I actually didn't plan for the Lucrehulks when I originally drafted the general Crusade outline. But when I was dealing with Nimban, I realized that...'waaaaiiittt' they have their HQ outside the Republic. Wouldn't that be a PRIME place to build up some of their secret ships? Obviously, given the sheer numbers, the Shipyards at Nimban aren't the TF's only location for building those battleship refits. But it makes 100% sense that it would be the first place that they started building them that way from the keel out, instead of refitting their existing fleet. The Hutt's aren't likely to narc on them, after all. So, a bit of a windfall for the League, but also a complication in that they now know the Trade Federation, at least, is Up to Something. A/N 2: Meanwhile, Celeste has a solid clue about a Sith in the current chain. It's not the current Sith, no. She also doesn't have any sort of absolute proof. But it's a thread that no one, even Sidious, is aware of. Which means she now has a chance to start slowly cracking who the current Sith might be. Even if that still won't be an easy task. A/N 3: Shaak Ti vs Izuku. I thought this was both a good chance to get some interaction with Shaak Ti AND address something that I've occasionally been accused of with Izuku. Specifically, some people on various platforms have somehow gotten it into their heads (I have NO idea how), that I underpowered him. He's not even remotely underpowered, he's just very rarely been placed in a position he needed that power. Some of it was shown off finally against the Dark Jedi Hutt, but this little sparring match finally gives a fairly direct comparison. Shaak Ti, in canon, would already be a Master on the High Council. One noted to be a rather skill combatant too. Here, she only didn't reach that point because Izuku and Co wiped out the Kazarak Slaver's Guild and Shaak got tapped to help rebuild the government of Kazarak. She is, if anything, even better than she was in canon since doing so likely meant surviving dozens of assassination attempts. Not to mention the boost she's getting from a freshly deepened connection to the Force post-Tisht. Yet, she still lost to Izuku...While he was Sandbagging. While he's nowhere near her or Aayla's level with a saber, having only been using one for a few years, Izuku's monstrously gifted with telekinesis, and had an unarmed style pounded into him by Miruko. Of the Jedi, there are only a bare handful that could actually take him in a serious fight, and that handful actually DOESN'T include Windu, as Windu's fighting style is geared toward fighting darksiders, which Izuku isn't. Yoda would school him. Celeste can take him apart. A few others would give him a serious fight. But he's quite far up there in personal power. It's just not the type of power he's using most of the time at this point.

Chapter 81 A/N 1: This chapter basically exists to give readers an overview how the war has progressed, as well as to bring certain names back into focus. It also shows off how much time as passed (a bit over 2 months since the start of the Crusade), and shows that new stuff is coming down the pipeline for them all.

Chapter 82 A/N 1: The longer the Bunny Girl running gag plays out, the more tempted I am to get up to proper mischief with it... A/N 2: Kalda Ra is a bit more important than some of the other OCs I've scattered in. She's intended to be a set of eyes we can see inside the Ossus Academy with, as things progress there. Though, sooner or later, other major characters will visit there as well. A/N 3: The lemon! So...this exists to make my life easier. Since you perverts wanted both Padmé and Sabé in the harem, it simplifies things for me if they are, well, already involved with each other a bit. Not seriously, but enough to make it more natural to both join the same set of lovers. Technically, I could pull off both of them joining without that. But it would make things more complicated. Which, given that at least one more will likely be joining as well, makes me want to make my life a little easier. Hence the lemon...not that I'm expecting you lot guys and gals to complain :-p. The very fact you wanted them both in the Harem says a lot of you were probably already imagining scenes like this. Oh, and about Padmé being a sub? Yeah. Honestly, that's just about the only way I can see her canon relationship with Anakin having actually functioned. If she was as forceful in the bedroom as she is everywhere else, like 90% of what happened between them wouldn't have run the same course. Since she'd have told Anakin to 'heel boy!' and cut short his fall to Vader at like, a dozen different points.

To that last author note: the idea of having darth vader not exist because Anakin was a massive subby is hilarious. At some point we better get a bunny girl special elite squad. Probably set up by Asora. Like battle maids but bunny outfits Anyways, thanks for the chapters.

Thanks for the update! Any chance of Padme's "... pleasant fantasies of spontaneously becoming a Jedi ..." Being realized? I think both her and Sabe would be great 😃 as Force sensitives! In any case I'm looking forward to reading much more of this greatly interesting story!

Eh. Technically they could, since Izuku and Co are now more fully aware that you don't need a high midi-count for Force Use. To be honest, though, I can't see Padme making time for it. Despite her occasional moments of pretending she's an Action Girl, the reality is that she's primarily a politician. Much like EU/Legends Leia, I doubt she'd really bother learning more than the basics even if she was fully Force Sensitive. 'Following the Force' doesn't really align with her personality. Which is, in a way, honestly more Sith than Jedi. Since she regularly charges off and demands that the galaxy conform to her will, rather than the other way around. Sabe might be a different story, though. Possibly. Maybe?

I mean, if Padme didn't just like Anakin run over her most of the time, and like implanted a remote control shock button for his prostate or something, a huge chunk of the stupid things he did wouldn't have happened... I admit, I'm more and more tempted to let the Bunny Girl thing run away as a 'joke that became real' sort of thing.

I think Sabe would be a great force sensitive, have her take a vacation from Padme and have her train with Izuku. Give them some bonding time away from Padme.

Vimes' are a VERY good place to start. Star Wars: The Force Wills by Keiran Halcyon is pretty good too. Using the Force Made Easy by Fencer22 is pretty unique and interesting. There's No Rules That Says a Wolf Can't be a Jedi was a bit odd but fun. Tactical Superiority and Sublight Drive on Spacebattles are okay as well, though not quite so highly recommended.

Hey, I just stumbled on an absolute "fuck you" method to deal with force users (for when the spicy glowstick twirlers show up) it's not shot guns, it's not even flame throwers. Both of those can be countered with moderate competence in the force. No. It's a Lazer that fires in a triangle formation. The speed and ammo capacity of your standard blaster, now paired with the fact that you can't block more than 2 bolts at a time.
