Alright! Bit late in the evening for me to get this out. On the other hand, the release is also closer to 16,000 words than 15,000, so I imagine no one will mind much that the editing took a bit longer :-). Contained within are some more politics, reactions from the Jedi side to a f ew things, a bit of a side adventure, a lemon, a lesson in not trying to drink Wookiee alcohol if you're not a Wookiee, and a bit more kinky content even past the lemon ;-).

Admittedly, this release leaned a bit more into the sexy side than usual, but that was honestly mostly as a way to help break up the political stuff so it doesn't get dry/boring. Thankfully, we should be through the bulk of their political tour at this point. Possibly one or two more stops in the next release, followed by them returning to Tythe for a bit and then jumping forward to some more war effort. At least, that's the loose outline. Subject to change if something else important or interesting occurs to me...

Anyway, for now, enjoy another release of Can One Displaced Hero Save the Galaxy?! As usual, the new stuff is attached here in various formats, and I'll be posting new Master Files in the Pinned Post. I'll also put author's notes in the comments below when I have time.

Chapter 107 A/N 1: Yes, I showed an Anakin snippet, since a few people have wondered what they are up to. Yes, I couldn't help myself and snuck in the infamous sand line :-p. A/N 2: So the Jedi have found out about Zavra ;-). Thankfully, Shaak Ti and Mace were ahead of the curve. Also of note here is the mention of a security review. That's going to have effects down the line...

Chapter 108 A/N 1: So, Zeltros genuinely wasn't on my original route planning for their little tour, but when I mapped the hyperlanes they'd have to take for this leg of their trip, I realized they were going to pass through the Zel System. I both wanted to have some fun there, given the chance (both making sure Padmé has certain things stuck firmly in her brain and wanting to break the politics up with a lemon). In the process, I also realized there was a pretty major future trade opportunity too, so it all worked out nicely. The fact Aayla and Izuku had a hisotry with the system, from their earlier days before the League, just made it make more sense.

Chapter 109 A/N 1: Here's where the real 'politicking' of this release took place. Onderon was an odd case at the start of the Clone Wars as the King DIDN'T want to enter the CIS. Reading between the lines, Mina Bonteri effectively helped backstab him and place a CIS puppet on the throne. Mostly because she was a Count Dooku fangirl who bought into his rhetoric hook, line, and sinker. Here, the King served as a veteran politician who could bring up some issues, while he almost accidentally makes it much harder for the senator to pull something like that. A/N 2: Poor Padmé's world view is really taking a beating. To be blunt, though, it sort of needs to. She caused, in her own way, just as many problems as Anakin did with her refusal to face reality. A/N 3: Dxun is a weird, weird bit of lore. It also happens to be one of the few firm locations where we know Darth Bane stopped and spent time, though. Meaning it was a chance for Izuku's weird connection with the Force to help them get some Deep Background on the current Sith Order. Nothing immediately helpful to them, but which will help them build a better understanding of how the modern Sith work and came to be.

Chapter 110 A/N 1: I'm unsure how this entire chapter happened, if I'm going to be honest :-p. I wanted them to visit Kashyyk, but my outline for what to happen there was nearly blank. Then, when reading through the planet's entry for inspiration, I was hit with the fact that Wookiees make alcohol out of Worshyr Tree Sap. Given how alive in the Force the planet is, I thought to myself, 'heeeeyyyy...I bet that would even hit Force users hard.' Some amusing thoughts about why Yoda liked the planet so much (I imagined him enjoying watching other Jedi make idiots of themselves after he gave them some as a lesson in not being arrogant) added to the idea. Then I revisited a random thought I'd written down about possibly having Padmé accidently end up in one of Aayla's chastity belts. It was intended as a far future thing, not for use right now, but it actually served a good purpose. Specifically, one of the reasons I keep bringing Padmé back into contact with the group is to stoke the 'catching feels.' Since she won't be joining for a while yet, continuing to push them into situations that keep that fire of interest burning is important. Particularly as joining them at all will be part of a future radical departure from canon that needs more momentum behind it. The net result was the endings scene of this chapter. Which I waffled about including or not. It's a bit heavy handed, after all. Still, I ultimately decided 'Eh, my patrons are the same perverts who voted for a fairly larger harem in the first place, so they'll probably enjoy it,' and went with it :-p. If it proves too disruptive or unrealistic feeling to readers, I can always remove it later and make it an extra instead.

it took me until this release to finally get fed up enough with recognizing the name A’Sharad Hett but now knowing who he was to look him up, and i'm glad i did. some interesting moves with onderon, and i enjoyed seeing that not everyone in the galaxy was blind tot he oncoming civil war. overall i enjoyed these chapters, though they definitely felt like necessary filler to move the timeline along, and it's jsut making me even mroe excited for the next few releases

It continues to amaze me how these characters, Padme and Satine in particular can continue to be such willfully ignorant idealists yet remain in power and con people into thinking they are competent. Granted they started their careers extremely young and were traumatised pretty early on but come on you are galactic level politicians. Did Padme just go on the trip without researching where they would go and with who will they be speaking? I get its funny and cute to make her have existential crisis but her going surprised pikachu face when people say the Republic is a dying horse and we want to swith carts looks just incompetent. Especially coming from her who had to come herself to save her planet after getting told to get fucked by the senate.

The order must have gone downhill when they can't afford Mace Windu anymore and have to make do with Matt Windu instead.

Eh...you're 100% spot on with Satine. That woman is outright delusional. Not so much with Padmé. She had every reason to believe she knew what the King's position was, since she thought she knew what her own old mentor's was and Mina Bonteri is the Senator for Onderon. That one rightfully blindsided her, since Mina hasn't been open with her switch of sides yet (it's too early for that). As for her overall belief in the Republic, it's not that she doesn't KNOW there are problems, she's just of the personal belief they can still be fixed from within the system. Remember, Palpatine essentially operates on a supposedly anti-corruption platform (which he secretly used to replace much of the judicial branch with his own people). So from her perspective, the current upset within the Senate is being caused by the very problems people are protesting being in the process of being FIXED. She's more and more learning that, even if that were completely true, that the scars run deep enough by this point that merely fixing the issues might not be enough. Since fixing the issues can't fix the bitterness and dislike they caused in the first place.

Hett is an interesting character :-). He's obviously not going to end up going the same way here as he did the version that ended up Darth Krayt. But his pre-Clone Wars backstory is largely the same.

I looked up Star Wars Lore to see if Zelteons were actually there and indeed they were! Cause let’s be both frank and blunt Novus. I can totally see you creating an OR (Original Race) like this. And just like you did with the Crystal City in HB, have it feel so natural that we’d question why it’s not part of Canon. That’s my opinion anyway. But damn…SW had some secret spice I didn’t know about! Whoops, missed out on the commentary part of this comment until I went to make the corrections for the new master file :-p. Yes, Zeltrons are 100% in Star Wars, along with at least one or two other races with pheromone effects. Frankly, there's a lot more 'adult' tint to a lot of the EU than most Sci-fi gets. Zeltrons are an almost humorous extreme. My favorite bit about their lore is that no one has ever successfully invaded, purely because they end up caught up in the party vibes. With the closest to a success being an invasion force that ended up 'capturing' a kitchen to cook things for the party once they got so caught up... Anyway, thanks as always for the corrections, they are in the new master files :-).
