Reminder: The July Story Poll went up yesterday, don't forget to vote!

Behold! It this the first Author's Choice update of the month! As I mentioned at least once (somewhere), I decided on doing A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure as the Author's Choice story this month. Which is also why the description in the poll for the next entry of it might have confused some of you :-p. That description took this update, as well as my plans for the second Author's Choice update on the 28th, into account, after all.

Anyway! There's some exciting new stuff (hopefully) in this update, including the start of 2B's very first Contest. Which...hooooolllllyyy pancakes on a stick, writing Contests is even harder than Pokémon Battles. I not only needed to watch a bunch of them from the various anime seasons to try getting a better idea how they worked, but they are complicated to describe in text form. Hopefully, I've done a decent job of it so far. I'm pretty sure I'm not making Contests 2B's calling in life, though :-p. Writing even just a few of these might give me PTSD and a thousand yard stare...

Ah, there's also a bit of a surprise as to pokémon acquistions in the chapters. Buneary of course, was the winner of the vote for 2B's next pokémon that happened a while back. The other...well, check the author's notes I'll be putting on this post for my reasoning ;-). I don't want to spoil it before you get a chance to read it!

As always, the new content is attached below in various formats. Once again, since this is the first month I'm doing it this way, a quick reminder that I'm not updating the Master Files until each story is done for the month, in order not to complicate things too much on my end.

Chapter 31: A/N 1: So, the Swarm of Buneary was inspired by the fact that its the only way they appear in that location, during at least one generation of the games. Which is a little silly, honestly, but gave a bit of flavor to the encounter here, without having to send them off on a whole additional side adventure.

Chapter 32: A/N 1: Uh-huh. Sure Bill, it is TOTALLLY an 'accident' that you keep turning yourself into pokemon over various versions of the game with a 'teleporter failure.' We believe you... A/N 2: Several people have mentioned 2B possibly creating code for Porygon, and it does kinda make sense, assuming she understands even a fraction of who YoRHa androids were coded. So...a less Dubious option for a Porygon evolution! I have no idea if she'll ever get a Porygon, admittedly. A/N 3: The Eevee. No, I didn't run a poll for these two...yet. First, Bill is by far the most likely way to acquire Eevee, given he goes giving them away to protagonists in various game generations. I decided, since he's considered a Pokemon Manic, that him doing some breeding of them makes sense of why he always has a low level one just 'on hand' to give away. As for why BOTH girls got one, it honestly just didn't feel right for only 2B to get one, and Bill wasn't likely to give one to Zoey but not 2B, who he's worked with and likes. As for why I said not YET on the poll. Well, that should be obvious. Eevee means Eevloutions! So, eventually, I'll run two polls for what each of their Eevee will evolve into.

Chapter 33: A/N 1: The bunny girl costume thing is now just a running gag across all my stories :-p. Or most of them, at least.

Chapter 34: A/N 1: Poor 2B, traumatized by now WEIRD humans are. Seriously, the mud masks and cucumbers thing has always struck me a particularly bizarre, no matter the logic behind it. A/N 2: I 100%, absolutely, stole the ice spiral/slide thing from one of Dawn's routines. Though I put twists of my own on it for Jigglypuff. A/N 3: The poor, innocent Coordinators, who are all going to get steamrolled by 2B, even with her trying to play with kid gloves...

2B is going to be a monster in this world. Good thing ya don't need to be a Champion to be a champion level trainer. Bet she ends up working with interpol as she travels the world feeding that bit of wamrth in her tummy. That dress is a lot shorter than We thought it was.

Rather curious if with 2B's more stable code a more stable evolution of Porygon may become a thing, as such Porygon 2 into Porygon 3 could become a thing instead of that glitchy Porygon Z. Thanks a lot for the chapter, nice to see 2B continue her escapades.

That's a thought I'm giving serious consideration to myself, but haven't fully decided on yet. Mostly as I'm not honestly that familiar with Porygon Z, it being from generations of the game I didn't play. It's certainly part of why I added the item, though. So that if I (or rather the Patron voting more likely) decides that 2B should have a Porygon, there's an option to make it a bit more unique.

I now want to see 2B's Eevee evolve with the new Porygon upgrade. Her evolutions have not been broken enough.

Huh, that's an interesting thought. Though I'm not sure even an Eevee would be able to evolve into something digital. Porygon can because it's entirely a artificial creation.

If any Pokémon could do it, it would be the evolution Pokémon. Especially with 2B around. Although I don't know what the typing would be.

Loved the chapters and can't what to see the rest of the contest. I think you did a great job describing it so well done. Looking forward to what you do with the posible porygon evolution and what you decide on for the eevee's evolution. On 2B's eevee are you considering a new type evolution or sticking with the know ones? My two favorite for ether idea would be glaceon or a new ghost type eeveelution as those are my favorite types.

I'm intending to stick with a known Eeveelutions, as I figure that's something people will have Opinons on in a vote ;-). Better not to confuse the issue beyond the eight options that already exist. A ghost type only makes me think of the meme where a pokemon 'evolves' into a ghost type via a Brick to the Face T-T...

I wonder if 2B might be the first to discover a digital type eeveelution. The eevees do seem to develop new evolutionary options any time a new type comes up.
