[POLL] July 2025 Small Plugin (Patreon)

Small plugins are plugins that are not expected to require more than 1 months worth of work. Please note that since development can have unexpected surprises, there is no guarantee that this plugin will be completed in one month or less, however I have never yet missed a deadline and have been running this poll for a few years now.

For July 2025's small plugin, would you like to see...

Select Object - A plugin to improve the look and feel of the item select event command (as well as add other selection types, for things such as skills, actors, etc.). It would focus on improving the UI while keeping functionality the same + offering more choices for the selection event commands.

Hardcore - A plugin to add a hardcore mode to your game, where receiving a game over would also delete the player's save file. It would come with a scene to select a mode, either hardcore or normal, including making this available via Plugin Command in case your title screen is evented. A Hardcore flag would be added to the save file info as well.

Shadows - A plugin to add shadow sprites for characters, including events, player, followers, etc. The shadows would be configurable to different sprite images.

Quality of Life - A plugin aimed at making the game more friendly to the player. It would be an assortment of options such as always allowing battle escapes to succeed, full heal on level up or battle end, hit/evade rate increasing if the player is low hp, etc.

High Scores - A plugin to allow you player to save a high score at a minigame or some other aspect of your game. Maybe you have dungeon clear scores. When repeating the minigame, the player can try to improve their score. This can increase replayability. You would be able to pre-fill them with developer/NPC scores.

Cheat Codes - A plugin to allow your player to unlock cheats and then select them from a menu to enable or disable them. It would turn switches ON/OFF to let you event custom cheat behavior. At first, you would most likely need to event any cheat functionality, however through updates I would look to add automatic cheat behaviors like invincibility, etc.

At 11:59PM CDT July 2 (Wednesday), this poll will close and I will start working on the plugin with the most votes. In case of a tie, I will choose one of the plugins that received the most votes.
