[POLL] August 2025 Small Plugin (Patreon)

Vote on the next small plugin Casper Gaming releases in August 2025.

Small plugins are plugins that are not expected to require more than 1 months worth of work. Please note that since development can have unexpected surprises, there is no guarantee that this plugin will be completed in one month or less, however I have never yet missed a deadline and have been running this poll for a few years now.

For August 2025's small plugin, would you like to see...

Power Meter - A small minigame like plugin where you have a bar that either fills up and then goes back down where the player needs to press an input when it is filled for maximum power, or the alternate where there is a moving marker that needs to be stopped on an edge or the middle of a bar by user input. This plugin would aim so support all types of this mechanic, but for initial release would probably be a gauge filling up and down that can be stopped by input.

Hardcore - A plugin to add a hardcore mode to your game, where receiving a game over would also delete the player's save file. It would come with a scene to select a mode, either hardcore or normal, including making this available via Plugin Command in case your title screen is evented. A Hardcore flag would be added to the save file info as well.

Shadows - A plugin to add shadow sprites for characters, including events, player, followers, etc. The shadows would be configurable to different sprite images.

Party Manager - A plugin aimed to introducing party management mechanics, such as locking an actor in place, allowing an actor to be movable but only within the battle slots, change the number of battle members, and more.

High Scores - A plugin to allow you player to save a high score at a minigame or some other aspect of your game. Maybe you have dungeon clear scores. When repeating the minigame, the player can try to improve their score. This can increase replayability. You would be able to pre-fill them with developer/NPC scores.

Cheat Codes - A plugin to allow your player to unlock cheats and then select them from a menu to enable or disable them. It would turn switches ON/OFF to let you event custom cheat behavior. At first, you would most likely need to event any cheat functionality, however through updates I would look to add automatic cheat behaviors like invincibility, etc.

At 11:59PM CDT July 31 (Thursday), this poll will close and I will start working on the plugin with the most votes. In case of a tie, I will choose one of the plugins that received the most votes.
