Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Destination Sprite!

This plugin allows you to customize the destination sprite, which is what the player sees when tapping or clicking to move around the map.

Sprite Options

This plugin offers three basic sprite options, which are shapes, images, and spritesheet animations.

Perhaps most interesting are the spritesheet animations, which allow you to play an animation wherever the player clicked on the map like so:

Static Images are similar, except instead of a sheet of images they are just one static image:

Shape are basic shapes like the default square, automatically drawn by the plugin:

All of the shapes can have various customization options applied to them, such as opacity and scale changes which you can see in the gifs and images above. You can also set the blend mode for each sprite.

Change During Gameplay

A very handy feature, the destination sprite can be changed during gameplay! This means that if you want your towns and other safe areas to use one destination sprite image and your dungeons and other dangerous areas to use a different destination sprite image, you can do that! This can add a layer of polish to help players feel like you thought of everything down to the smallest detail when designing your game.

Roadmap

I plan to expand this plugin by adding more customization options for your sprites. This can include more shape types, as well as more options that can affect all sprites like hue changes and more. I would love to hear feedback on which type of customization you are looking forward to most so I know what to prioritize working on ❤️
