Add HP Bars to your enemies in battle.

Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Enemy HP Bars!

This simple plugin allows you to show hp bars for your enemies in battle without requiring any setup, but read below for some extra features you might like.

Customization

This plugin allows you to customize the hp bar shown, including the width and height, colors used, and background color. The bar automatically displays in combat and animated when moving. See below gif for how it can look:

Require Scan

This plugin can optionally hide the HP bars if the enemy is not first "scanned" by the player using a scan skill, such as set up through [CGMZ] Scan. This might also be referred to as an analyze skill, psycho, or any other similar mechanic you see in various games. See below gif for how it can look:

The way this works is that your enemy hp bars can be hidden if the enemy is not yet discovered in the [CGMZ] Encyclopedia. [CGMZ] Encyclopedia can require a manual scan of the enemy before it gets discovered, adding some strategy to your player's battle plans. If they want to see the HP bar, they will need to use a turn to scan the enemy.

Roadmap

I plan to expand this plugin by adding a lot more customization to the bars including per-enemy options. I also want to expand what the bar can show, to include things like mp or other enemy gauges. Boss HP Bars which span the entire screen and can have multiple bars in one will also be part of this plugin's future. Of course, everything will be optional and you will have complete control as usual with my plugins ❤️
