While the default map name window is decent, it does not have many customization options and it uses the same appearance for every map. Some developers might want different appearances for each map, or they might just want to customize the window that appears in all maps - this plugin allows both with both a "default" group of parameters which will be used if no preset is in use. Here are some of the customization features offered:- You can set an x,y offset

- You can horizontally move it to the right/center/left and vertically move it to the top/middle/bottom.

- You can choose from 2 new gradient styles (start at left and fade right or start at right and fade left), or you can choose no gradient behind the text at all and instead show the windowskin.

- The window can also support more than 1 line of text now, and supports text codes such as \c[x] and \i[x].Have any other features you'd like to see? Let me know in the comments below.

Beta Release: This plugin is now in Beta! New to beta is the ability to add an image to the map name window or your map name window presets.

Beta Update: Added a plugin command that will reopen the Map Name Window when called.

This update fixes a bug with the map name window still opening if it was blank if it was set to show the windowskin. I also updated the plugin to warn in the dev tools console instead of crash when it detects invalid JSON parameters (for example, if one of your presets is invalid).

This update adds the ability to make the map name window display permanently. You can enable this by setting the Show Count parameter to -1.

This update also adds two new plugin commands: Fade Out Window and Close Window. Both do similar things. Fade Out Window will start the fade out process and then close the window. Close Window will skip the fade out process and immediately close the window.

This update adds a lot of new window options, including changing the windowskin, window padding, window background opacity, and window tone. This should hopefully make windows where you display the windowskin much more customizable than they were previously. This update also adds some quality of life features around the images that can be displayed in the background of the window. Resizing the image to fit is now an option. There was also a debug option added to report the width and height of the image area to the dev tools console so you can get exact pixel dimensions for your images.

This latest version allows you to change the text in the map name window via plugin command. You can use this to have different map names for different parts of the map. This includes being able to change the preset. See below gif for how this can look:

This update also adds some more control over when the map name window closes as you can now optionally prevent it from closing if the message window is open. A bug was also fixed related to this, as even if the map name window is set to close during message windows it will automatically reappear in the case that it is set to infinite display.
