Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Battle BGM Control!
This plugin allows you to randomize which battle BGM can play based on a variety of factors. These might include which actors are participating in battle, which enemies they are fighting, and even which map the battle was triggered from. You can also turn ON/OFF the entire plugin's functionality in game via the use of a plugin command.

Alpha Update 3/2/2023: This plugin can now have Troop themes, which are themes that have a chance to play when a specific troop is encountered.
This update adds class themes. Now you can hear certain music depending on the classes of the actors participating in battle. This update also optimized the parsing of the themes, as before they were parsed at the beginning of every battle and now they are parsed only once at the beginning of the game.
This update fixed a bug with repeating music tracks. Before, duplicate tracks could occur and this would make certain bgms far more likely to play. This has been fixed, and now duplicates will be removed before choosing a bgm to play giving each track the same odds of being selected.
This plugin now warns when invalid JSON is detected in a plugin parameter. Invalid JSON is a result of incorrectly deleting a parameter or some other incorrect setup. These warnings are still important to fix, as they could cause the plugin to not load bgms correctly.
This version the plugin has changed away from using a plugin command to control whether the plugin is active to a simple game switch. This should be easier to use. As a result, the Set Control plugin command has been removed.
This update also added theme weights so you can make certain themes more likely to be heard. You could use this to add a rare theme as well.
The map parameter has been converted from a number to map type. This will be much easier for users of MZ 1.9.0+. If you are not yet on 1.9.0, you can manually enter the map id as before.
This version adds some conditions to your battle BGM themes. You can now set a switch id that must be ON before the theme can be heard, so you can have more control over when themes are played.
Even though the theme select is random, your player could get unlucky and hear the same theme multiple times in a row. There is now an option to track the last heard theme and prevent that theme from being played twice in a row. Note that this is not saved so will only work for battles within the same play session.
This version changes the enable switch so that if it is not set, the battle bgm changes will occur. Previously, not setting this switch in plugin params would cause default BGM behavior.
This update also allows this plugin to work better in battle test. It has a new parameter that will cause it to skip any switch conditions in battle test, so you can have an Enable Switch set but still hear your themes in your battle tests. Switch conditions for each theme are also skipped. Other conditions still apply.
This version adds statistic tracking for BGMs played via this plugin. You can now know things like how many total BGMs were played via this plugin, which file was played least/most and how much it was played, and the play count of each specific bgm track.
This data is available via Plugin Command which was also added in this release. See documentation for usage.
