$8 Tier Patreon Updates - March 2026 (Patreon)

Hello hello,

Just some quick updates that are going to take effect as of March 2026:

Waiting Period Before Automatic Denial of Request

A new rule is being added to the Monthly Request Thread (MRT): When making a request, if I respond to you asking for further details and you do not respond to me within 30 minutes OR if you say you will DM your request and do not message me via Patreon chat within 30 minutes, your request will be automatically denied.

This is to help ensure the 'flow' of the MRT stays constant and to not 'leave people hanging' on whether they have secured a request spot or not when there are a lot of requests/comments! (As a side note: you don't have to ask if it's okay to DM me your request; just telling me that you will DM me and then doing so immediately is absolutely fine...!)

Upon Request Refusal, 2 Additional Chances for Securing a Request

A rule is being changed in the MRT: currently, upon refusal of a request, your request slot is retained and you are free to make one more request, of which a second rejection will deny your request slot for the month and open the slot to other Patrons. I am granting everyone an additional refusal, meaning an individual can now attempt 3 requests total before I deny them for the month.

This is to help everyone better understand what my limits are for requests and grant people more grace if they should request something I'm not comfortable drawing.

Implementation of Request Grace Period Extension

As discussed in one of my previous admin posts, starting from March 2026, if an individual secures a request spot the grace period between requests will be extended from 1 month to 2 months (e.g. if you secure a request in March 2026, you will not be able to secure another request until June 2026).

Also stated previously, this rule is only effective from March 2026 onwards, meaning if you secured a request in February 2026, you are able to try and secure a request spot in April 2026.

I also stated previously that the MRT would be uploaded at a different time in March 2026, but this will not be the case as I have yet to finalise a suitable time. I sincerely apologise to everyone outside of USA/Australian Timezones, and I ask for your forgiveness and patience while I try to find a good resolution that can benefit everybody.

Thank you for all of your feedback with the proposed Patreon changes I presented recently, I am thinking about how best to implement some of these ideas and I hope to continue improving the Patreon experience for you all going forward.

Thank you very much for your ongoing support!
