Joe’s Junk and budget cars

Joe’s Junk is expanded with a fuller “core” setup, including rougher beater and junkyard-style configs for several cars so cheap runs feel more distinct at the yard.

Taxi career

A taxi skill tree adds structured progression alongside the existing taxi work.

Taxi payouts are tuned down, including trimming the highest-paying cases, so rewards sit closer to the rest of the economy.

Repo career

A repo skill tree ties progression to repo work, with clearer XP called out in rewards.

Repo payouts are reduced overall so the job line stays in line with other careers.

Repo jobs no longer depend on having a licence plate on the target.

When choosing repo vehicle tiers, locked higher tiers are skipped and the job uses the highest tier you have actually unlocked.

If repo job generation fails or aborts, the phone gets a fallback state instead of staying on loading forever.

Repo filters on the phone behave better when the vehicle list shrinks under a filter.

Police and enforcement

Pursuit fines apply correctly for citations and arrests instead of misfiring.

Police XP payouts and a police road-related issue are corrected.

Map and traffic

Extra trailers are cleared from refinery logistics parking so the lot stays usable for work there.

Fixes

Various taxi and repo phone flows, payouts, and enforcement edge cases are tightened for a smoother loop between jobs and rewards.

This is a great update. Joe's Junk is superb. The selling parts bug is fixed too my end. This really is one of the best games I've played and it's all down to the RLC Mods. It's taken a fun game into a genuinely brilliant Driving game. It'll take a lot of work for anyone to surpass this.

Why Bother

What are the controls for the rollbacks I have tried to assign controls but it seems I'm missing the tilt function

Randy Hammons

How do you buy a private bus and run routes with it? The only thing I can seem to do is take the loaner which is also limited because I can't reason how to level that up enough to get the larger buses.

Blake Pratt

Buy a MD series and modify the frame and upfit to get yourself a bus. Its the best bet I think. I rarely see them for sale. When I do it tends to be in the auction house

Blake Pratt

I went to vehicle installed controls and manually searched for them. Assigned tilt up and down to 2 seperate4 keys and roll forward and back to their own keys as well

Randy Hammons

I’ve seen them for sale. Bought it, but I couldn’t use it to run actual routes like the ones you can take from central station with the loaner buses. Has to be possible considering you can take loaners. What you’re describing is cool too, but that would essentially a large passenger capacity taxi. I assume you’d use the taxi app to take jobs. Is it possible to get 8+ person fares?

Did you delete the previous 2.6.x.x folder from the mods folder?

MagL3V

Hello I had the same question till a kind soul helped in the comments. Solution : change the plates to BUS. The game will then recognize your bus and give you a route. This also works for REPO which makes your d series able to be used for repo jobs. Pretty neat

goreshit

aye, of course. verified/refreshed the lua folder in steam installation too. at a bit of a loss.

Randy Hammons

and you're using a wentward bus I'm guessing that you bought from the vehicles market? I've only seen one so far, but I snagged it the moment I saw it :)

MagL3V

Nah I'm using the capsule bus mod also from service dealership

MagL3V

I don't understand how you can go through all the trouble of doing what you did + complaining about it here instead of just creating a custom challenge with increased modifiers ? No cheating needed, just increase the payouts for what you want.... i have absolutely no problem with the new balanced payouts, if you want to get a scintilla in 2 minutes and a bus in 4 minutes why ruin it for people who want a sense of progression ? CUSTOMIZE YOUR MODIFIERS SINCE THEY GAVE US THE OPTION TO DO SO...

Nathaniel Taylor

has anyone else had an issue with repo vehicles melting upon spawning/repair, and if so has anyone found a fix?

Randy Hammons

Confirming this works and works well. Simply buy the bus, rename the tag back at your garage to "Bus" and it'll automatically set your GPS to the start of your route. You can exit the bus and reenter to have it give you another random route. I find that the "residential loop" is the fastest and best. Personal opinion. To get the bus you can download and activate the Wentward mod from the in-game repo. Alternatively, I _believe_ you can go to the "Service Vehicles" seller who might have buses for sale. For me, the Wentward mod worked fine. Took about 10-minutes for a bus to pop up and I negotiated the price ~3k under market. Can't remember the actual cost but it was <30k. Now to figure out what this "reputation" stuff is influencing when you drive the bus route!

JuuG

my drag events dont wrk

Nathaniel Taylor

it was milage wear, apparently if your frame has too many miles your vehicles just give up or something, not really sure

Clayboybebop

Love the update but for the offroad very hard to get to deliveries aka anything in remote pit in Pepper Valley. But is there anyway of seeing how or what you police rank is? The like "criminal part" because I keep getting stopped by cops and Im wondering If either doing police work or paying off someone will or can reset that. Credit score is fine so thats not an issue.

Braktt

Im kinda stuck currently. Im supposed to go for a "Car Meet" at 10pm but the time doesnt advance, What do I do to fix that?

Blake Pratt

When you are at your garage when you click sleep you can toggle for day and night to advance

UnitySlut

did you ever figure this out perchance
