START HERE – RLS Career Overhaul (FULL INSTALL GUIDE)

If you’re new, follow this guide and you’ll have the complete experience working in minutes.

What is RLS Career Overhaul?

RLS Career Overhaul redefines BeamNG.drive's career mode, transforming it into a fully
realized automotive life simulator. Every drive, purchase, and repair has a purpose.
Whether you're hauling freight, patrolling as an officer, or maintaining your daily driver,
this mod brings realism, progression, and consequence together in one dynamic
system. The economy can be brutal at times, but the rewards make every victory feel
earned. Some Features include:

Expanded Gameplay Loops

If you install everything below, you will have the FULL experience.

STEP 1 – Download the Core Mod (REQUIRED)

You can choose between the latest Public Release or the latest Beta if you are a Patreon Bronze Member:

This is the main system that powers everything and has West Coast USA only:

You MUST install the above — nothing works without it.

Install Instructions

1) Download Zip file
2) Place Zip file in Mods folder
3) Start a new career save!

STEP 2 – Download Expansion Maps

If you are looking for Career on different maps outside of West Coast USA, map expansions include maps that have been modified and adjusted to allow players to switch maps in the same career save. Patreon Silver Members can try the betas of the maps currently in development. Map expansions still require the core mod to function in career, you can choose as many of these as you like.

When updating to new versions, you must remove the old versions

Nope Just put the .zip in C:\Users\***Your User***\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive\current\mods. If the mods folder doesn't exist, create it.

Did anyone else have problem with Italy expansion messing up traffic? My traffic in some regions of the map started driving on the left side or even outside the road? Nothing helped, only after deleting career Italy addon it fixed.

I have an issue where i cant make time play, times just frozen for me, cant advance to any car meets. Cant F11 to world editor and every command line gives me a LUA error. Is there anyway to advance time?

In the garage menu accessed form the computers in garages, there is a sleep tab and a option to play day night cycle

Yes, same here. Also Airport circuit gives a LUA error at the start and Italy big loop circuit gives a LUA at the very last checkpoint.

Is anyone else having issues with D series spawning with no panels and half interior missing? it's fine if I load with mods disabled. If anyone knows how to fix please let me know .

Idea / Suggestion: This pinned post could have a table that lists the newest version of each .zip that is part of the mod with a direct link to the post to get it. That way this could be cross referenced to make sure we're up to date.

entirely done with RLS.. just feel as if every upodate the team gets way ahead ofg itself and instead of fixing versions, and working on their file delivery and organization, theyre adding phone apps, and wobbly wal;king. thats great for someone who can afford to update their PC every 3 years, but why are we taking away from performace for aesthetic ? Not even a car game anymore, have my processing power goes into all the pointless features that add zero to the game itself. it was rally good for a while, then fuck.

not sure what changed but the past few days im not able to load into any drag races. it just gets stuck in the loading screen, no errors just gets stuck. started new games still does it. anyone have a fix?

I love this career mod it is so worth it but sometimes I have to do some work to make sure my pc is working. I have had a bunch of issues since 2.7.1 with loading into the world and getting the game to start. Checking the log it was a career_vehicleRetrieval dependencies not resolved error and a bunch of lua errors. It stumped me for the longest time but I finally solved it and RLS is like butter with 0 errors now. Clearing the cache and verifying game files just wasnt cutting it because it was not seeing the issue so I made sure my dev mode was turned off deleted all my level files and did a new file integrity scan to redownload fresh ones then deleted my gameplay_stat.json file from the settings>cloud folder and reinstalled my mods. This seemed to work out all my map material and lua errors and now everything works as devs intended solid build.

Turns out River Highway has been dead since May, and they expect us to know by scrolling thru hours of YT videos to find it. No word of it on here or on the last River Highway update post. Literally the only reason I subbed, and they don't even bother to tell us it's dead. Thanks for taking my money for months, team RLS!

I really like most of the game, just one problem... I have noticed that with 0 other mods installed, the Auction House is absolutely unusable... AI bids 50k for a 22k vehicle, constantly. Tried the public release, same thing as Beta version, completely removed the entire mod folder, cleared cache, still same problem.
