🎉 0.39 Update is finally here!!!

We have been working really hard to get overhaul working. This is an Alpha build expect some bugs, but the goal here is super fast turnaround so you can jump back in right away.

Our Changes

Added Phone Tutorial

Added App Store to hide apps you don't want

Reworked Info App

Added more options for save creation

Notes

Bugs will happen report anything you find.

A Beta build will come when other bugs are found and fixed.

Once it’s tested and stable, we’ll drop a polished public release so everyone can enjoy it.

I know this might be to much of an ask but do you think it’s possible to add a working dyno in the performance shop to run hp numbers with the tv screens and everything. Just curious to how possible that is

The mod doesn’t show in mod manager as 3.7, it’s recognising it as 3.8.8 or something, I have a feeling this is why it’s broke

Unfortunately, for me it just doesn’t activate when I start a new career at all. It’s like it’s not there but I’ve checked and it is. I don’t know what’s going on.

stuck on loading for me i cant find a fix and i noticed for me idk about others but the career overhaul is still 2.6.8 for me in the repo

Everything shows up, but when I go to either sell everything or keep everything it gets stuck on the loading screen no matter what I try

Old career didn't work. New career spawned me under map below drag strip but said I was at chinatown garage. I couldn't use the garage computer or anything. I deleted everything and re-installed this version with repo manager and career collection. When I click on repo manager in the more tab, nothing happens. I only have 4 mods instead of the around 250 BeamNG 0.39.0.20859 RLS Career Overhaul 2.7 Alpha RLS Career Collection 5.4 rls_repo_mod_manager.zip Repo Manager button appears under More, but clicking it does nothing. every time i load in i spawn in a camera mode under the map, does anyone know a fix? (i know its new and will have bugs)

What works for me: - Game, Progress Migrated. - *some* mods work, some don't. I view that as a success. - Cars run & drive, with traffic What DOES NOT work for me: - No cars are insured. Yet, they all say they have coverage. - When I go to the repair screen, there is no UI. Just "REPAIR" at the top. I am peachy with everything else! Keep it up! I know this is strenuous with the new update. We believe in you!

When i create a new save, the menu with all save still here, when i press F5 that disaspere but when i go to PC nothing appears

I think i found a fix for the loading under the map issue. I went into more and overhaul manager and turned off realistic vehicle entry. It worked for multiple new careers. Try it and see if it works for you

Hey guys, loving the mod, but I'm running into a couple of game-breaking bugs and can't figure out a fix: No traffic: Traffic isn't spawning at all. I tried toggling police, traffic, and ambient vehicles on and off, but nothing works. Missing map areas: Bridges and the area around the Chinatown garage just won't load/render in. I've already tried starting a fresh save file and doing a complete reinstall of the mod, but the issue persists. Is anyone else having this problem, or is there a known fix/conflict for this? Thanks! EDIT / CONSOLE LOG: Found this in my console log (beamng.log), seems like the GELua scripts are crashing because missing action bindings are breaking the traffic/map logic: Couldn't find action toggle_rev_aeb in actions lookup table Couldn't find action inc_acc_dist in actions lookup table Couldn me find action toggle_acc in actions lookup table Couldn't find action toggle_fwd_aeb in actions lookup table Couldn't find action dec_acc_dist in actions lookup table Couldn't find action inc_acc_speed in actions lookup table Couldn't find action dec_acc_speed in actions lookup table Couldn't find action set_acc_speed in actions lookup table

UPDATE / FIX FOUND: I managed to fix the issue! Here is what worked for me in case anyone else experiences the same problem: Cleared Inputmaps & Old Versions: I went to the settings folder (.../AppData/Local/BeamNG/BeamNG.drive/current/settings/inputmaps/) and deleted the keyboard.diff file to clear out broken keybindings. I also deleted all older BeamNG version folders from the AppData directory to prevent leftover conflicts. Deep Cache Clean: Ran a full/deep cache clean from the BeamNG Launcher Support Tools. Vulkan & DirectX Launch: Launched the game first in Vulkan mode to load into the map, and after that, everything worked completely fine in standard DirectX 12 as well. Traffic is spawning normally now and all missing map areas (bridges, Chinatown garage) are fully rendered!

i get stuck on the load screen for map and loads up to the end but doesent show anything other than the load screen ive tried deleting all game data and uninstaling the game and re downloading the game

My current issue is that I am able to run career mode but and it runs well i average about 60-90 fps for the most part but when you get to certain points in the map where it needs to load the textures for the upcoming terrain/ vehicles the game will freeze then crash I have only tested this on the west coast map with the only mods I have installed are the mods in the career collection along with some other maps from RLS any idea what causes the crashes?

I've actually gotten things to load pretty smoothly and mostly function. Good job getting almost everything working yall. Impressive stuff. My one issue now is no driving traffic is spawning. Lots and streets have parked cars but no one is driving at all. Please advise UPDATE. Did a Facility work on the forklift and traffic started spawning again. However I noticed sometimes after buy a car and modifing even the smallest thing It for some reason gains impossibly long gears in the final drive even though I didnt touch them. I put in a new final drive and it works fine again. Something weird to add to the list

I pressed C or shift C and started changing the camera till I was walking and could swim up from under the map now my stuff works fine.

If you press c once and Walk/ Swim to the surface it fixed it for me. It seems to do it on new saves when you have no starting garage for me

Delete all your mods and cash, do not install anything from the repo manager, keep the rls save clean, works just fine. Lots of mods in the career collection need updating and it's not up to RLS to do that so they're simply broken currently

Old save was stuck loading but new one works. No traffic or cops just the new taxis. If my vehicle is damaged and I try to retrieve it it'll get stuck loading that, but once I repair it it will retrieve. Can't wait for a patch for traffic

been having cops follow me randomly with this update. only way to get them to stop is to start a chase and evade

Hi there, trying out new version, got a question: FRE contracts (at least for regular racing) does not match any of my cars owned... I own modded car, which i built just for track and it cannot be used for contracts at all

the typing for custom mode on the money isnt working i had to hold down the up arrow for about 5 min to get to 2.5 m

Who else is having "fatal LUA error" pop up every time you click the repair screen? Nothing can be repaired, it says all cars have coverage while the icon says not insured. Need help plz

Day 2: made a new career save. works fine! migrating must have had an error someplace.

idek. if I can be honest, I just made a new save and will wait for new patches to return to the other profile. Otherwise, farewell previous save. New game works just fine for me.

Something else I can point out—though this is really an issue for the BeamNG developers—is that if you use RTS and Vulkan, the screen goes black; you either have to play using DirectX 12 or disable RTS to play with Vulkan, although there is a significant performance drop in this update. From the little I've been able to test, I started a new career and everything seems fine, but the free-roam events aren't available—or at least the "Drift Loop Master" one isn't. If that were fixed, it would be playable for me for the time being. Sorry for my English, but I speak Spanish and have to use a translator.

load into west coast and from the menu while in west coast load onto your career profile. But i wouldnt play anyways since the game pays 30-300 max for a fucking level 15 car jockey

Another issue I'm having is that the event-start banners appear black; clearing the cache fixes it, but they turn black again when I reload the game. EDIT: It's because of Vulkan.

Some type of issue switching between Career Freeroam and using your own vehicle in the APM Time Trial Challenges. Each time I've tried it's frozen afterwards.

Hello, this update completely fucked up hardcore mode and sorry for my frustration. Instead of cutting the rewards by half, it cuts it by 10. So when you escape from the cops you get a sad 50$ and every car jackey or delivery or any mission outside of west coast what so ever gives you 10% instead of 50% of the total reward which is a complete waste of time and id say a slave job, thank you for reeding i hope for a fix as soon as possible. :) IN SHORT, please change the 0.1x hidden hardcore money multiplayer on most of delivery missions back to 0.5x as it says in the menu, progress is terrible with the 0.1x.

cache doesnt do shit if you deleted it once already after the update. It only works if traffic doesnt spawn.

Now i can pull my car out, but sometimes when i open the garage menu to repair or customize. It crashes 🤣 its slowly getting better though so ill just have to have patience lol
