Hey everyone!

The Pepper Valley Refresh is much more than a visual update. We’ve expanded the career experience with new properties, businesses, activities, logistics facilities, and reasons to explore every corner of the valley.

Pepper Valley now includes:

14 purchasable properties, plus your starter garage

4 dealerships

34 Free Roam Events

42 off-road recovery locations

2 bus routes

5 car-meet locations

4 Travel Journal landmarks

A Bigger Career Playground

Pepper Valley transforms Johnson Valley into a connected career map built around trucking, racing, drifting, vehicle ownership, public-service work, and desert exploration.

The paved highway loop remains the backbone of the map, but the refresh fills it with more destinations and meaningful career progression.

New Logistics Hubs

Two major import and export hubs have been constructed at opposite ends of the valley.

Players can now take on more parcel, material, and trailer deliveries, with improved loading areas and better access for large commercial vehicles. Remote supply runs also send you away from the highway and into the roughest parts of Pepper Valley.

Delivery parking, trailer spawning, hub entrances, and GPS routing have all been improved to make logistics work more reliable.

More Properties to Own

Eight new career properties have been added during the refresh:

Four affordable Base Camp RV properties

Sandy Cabin

Lonely Home

Desert Villa

Pepper Valley Recovery Yard

There are now 15 career garage properties in total, including the starter garage, with prices and vehicle capacities covering everything from a basic desert camper to the eight-vehicle Desert Villa.

Garage pricing has also been rebalanced to create a more natural progression through the valley.

New Dealerships

Pepper Valley now has four physical dealerships.

The refresh adds:

Commercial Imports, specializing in trucks, commercial vehicles, trailers, and specialty equipment

Pepper Valley Drift Dealership, offering purpose-built drift and race cars

These join the existing Tyrannos and Estrada dealerships, giving players more choices when building fleets for different careers.

Pepper Valley Dakar

The refresh introduces a new standalone Dakar experience built specifically for Pepper Valley.

Choose from four vehicle classes—SSV, Raid, Heavy, and Unlimited—and tackle dynamically generated routes across the desert. Different classes receive different route lengths and checkpoint requirements.

Optional repair kits can save a damaged run, but each use adds a time penalty. Finish times determine placement bonuses, while long-term accolades reward wins, class completions, repair-free finishes, and Dakar mastery.

Expanded Activities

There are now 34 Free Roam Events across the map, including:

Eight Formula Drift-inspired courses

Airport Drift Loop

Salt Flats Top Speed Run

Functional drag strip

Autocross

Two rallycross circuits

Full Circuit road race

Irwindale Oval

Desert Road Rallye

Off-road short and long tracks

Tough Truck Shakedown

Crawling trails

Ultra4-style courses

Sand drags and hill climbs

JustinRevs’ Backyard Loop

The Irwindale racing area has received a substantial refresh, including a new oval FRE, track adjustments, improved barriers, clearer surfaces, and better event routing.

Players can also visit the new auction location, enter the demolition area, use the burnout pad, or meet other vehicles at Base Camp, AJ’s Auto Repairs, the racetrack, the Salt Flats, and Mountain View.

Bus, Recovery, and Exploration Gameplay

Career bus gameplay now includes the Central Loop and Outer Loop, along with three Pepper Valley bus loaners designed for different progression levels.

The new Recovery Yard supports vehicle storage and recovery gameplay, while 42 recovery locations can send capable off-road vehicles deep into the dunes, mountains, trails, and rocky basins.

Four Travel Journal landmarks have also been added:

Dune Overlook

Rest Stop

Heaven’s Door

Impact Site

World and Quality-of-Life Improvements

The refresh includes a large environmental and navigation pass:

Updated for BeamNG.drive 0.39

Rolling day/night cycle

Revised sky, weather, fog, and nighttime lighting

New roadside and facility lighting

Improved AI roads and traffic behavior

Better GPS routing and map-road coverage

Improved highway connections around the logistics hubs

More functional fuel, repair, and tuning locations

New electric vehicle charger

Terrain shading and surface improvements

Fixed delivery and trailer spawn locations

Fixed missing meshes, floating scenery, dark garage doors, and misplaced objects

Improved barriers, fences, track surfaces, puddles, and environmental detail

Whether you want to build a trucking company, collect properties, run a recovery fleet, compete in desert racing, chase drift scores, or simply explore, the Pepper Valley Refresh gives every trip through the valley a purpose.

I think the reworked Pepper Valley is some really good work. The new facilities at both ends help ground the feeling of a distribution network for logistics gameplay. However the overall design has some issues with the flow of trucks in the yard and delivering goods. The main package drop-off in the raised recycling building is not fit for purpose and has clearance issues with the ramp and doors. Even with the fifth wheel slid all the way forward and my trailer axles full forward, the trailer legs aren't clearing the ramp and you still may snag on the low door. This is the same existing issue with the ramps on weigh bridges but at a larger incline. The facilities look interesting and busy, but the overall design with tight winding lanes for traffic doesn't make any sense for the commercial workplace setting modelled. This is exacerbated by the overall expanse of space surrounding the industry, it has no reason to be built like this. Right as you enter cars drive straight, and larger trucks are forced into a one-lane dogleg turn between buildings. This isn't impossible with two trailers, but the road layout feels more like a building site in the inner city than an industrial hub in the middle of the desert. Still think the overall map and changes are a good update and haven't had any technical issues yet. Not sure a full facility at both ends is needed, maybe one could just be a transload or warehouse accepting goods for the area to distribute. The addition of dolleys in the trailer loads is also awesome, looking forward to seeing that more on Skeleton Coast so I can take on more loads and configs when I don't have mine.

I have to make a new save with this version, not sure why, just thought I’d let you know.
