Hey everyone!
v2.7.2 brings the recent beta updates together for the next public release of RLS Career Overhaul on BeamNG.drive 0.39. You can get a company job, take freight contracts on your own, buy a business, or spend the afternoon seeing what your car makes on the dyno.
We've also rebuilt the career computer screens and worked through a long list of fixes involving deliveries, saving, vehicle purchases, repairs and map travel.
Thanks to everyone who has been testing the betas and sending in reports. Here's the full rundown.
Dino Cafe and small businesses
Dino Cafe is now a place you can own. The cafe comes with its own garage, and its dyno is free to use once the business is yours.
Buy Dino Cafe with an included four car garage and management computer.
Get free unlimited dyno pulls as the cafe owner.
Use the garage for parts, tuning, paint, insurance, vehicle management and sleeping.
Buy other small businesses across West Coast, including mini marts, cafes, boutiques, supermarkets, nail salons, gift shops, jewelers, dry cleaners and specialty stores.
Pick up supplies and deliver them to your own shop to keep it running.
Upgrade storage and view stock, running costs, profit and payback through the Business Computer.
Manage businesses independently on supported maps.
Business garages stay attached to their business instead of being bought or sold separately.
West Coast Engine Works
Engine Works gives you a business built around making and selling engines. Start with a blueprint, get it certified, and put it into production.
Buy Engine Works for $200,000, with $50,000 down and financing for the remaining balance.
Certify engine blueprints, unlock production lines and upgrade the shop.
Manage production, warehouse space, breakdowns and engine sales.
See production costs, market value, expected profit and demand before deciding what to sell.
Track business finances and sell the business when you want to move on.
Select which vehicle to work on when more than one is in the workshop.
Access your stored parts from the business computer.
Buy complete engines through Belasco Engine Exchange and Javi Motor Parts, with prices based on the parts in the engine.
Company employment
You can now work for a company without having to buy a truck and trailer first. Apply from the Employment app, head to the yard and clock in.
Get hired at companies such as BPS and Fink Industries.
Use company trucks, trailers and fuel for your assignments.
Work parcel routes, material deliveries, trailer jobs, car jockey assignments and vehicle hauling.
Complete routes with several parcel stops and return runs.
Build company reputation and unlock suitable equipment as you progress.
See available jobs, vehicle requirements, wages and reputation in the Employment app.
Receive job offers at Logistics skill milestones.
Keep assignment progress and held wages through supported service visits, save reloads and interruptions.
Report an accident or an undeliverable load when a run cannot continue.
Choose to continue working or end the day after returning to the yard.
Company vehicle damage and abandoned assignments carry penalties. Speed cameras can issue fines while you're driving company equipment too.
Service jobs such as bus and ambulance work use their own shift flow. Leaving the vehicle can pause supported work instead of immediately ending the shift.
Job Broker and independent hauling
If you would rather use your own equipment, the Job Broker puts commercial work on your phone.
Browse six markets: parcels, bulk materials, liquids, specialty cargo, trailer loads and car hauling.
Sort and filter offers by pay, distance and load details.
Reserve work remotely and collect it at the pickup location.
Select several parcels together and choose which cargo box to load them into.
Reserve as many loads as you want, with loading limited by the space in your rig.
Rent trucks and trailers by the hour at Commercial Vehicle Sales and return them to the depot.
Take smaller material contracts suited to the vehicle you're using.
See the number of trips and the amount per trip for material jobs.
Take larger vehicle hauling batches on West Coast.
Load vehicles onto suitable flatbeds or trailers. A car has to be on the deck before the job counts it as loaded.
Use supported wheel lift equipment for vehicle hauling.
Get clearer options for canceling or abandoning work that cannot be completed.
Updated map packs can provide their own company jobs and freight contracts, including vehicle hauling.
CarGo
CarGo is the new phone app for independent car jockey work.
Pick up vehicle transfer jobs without joining a company.
Get paid after each completed drop off.
Continue into the next available job from the app.
Report an undeliverable assignment if the pickup or delivery cannot be completed.
CarGo and company shifts are kept separate so both systems cannot assign work at the same time.
Dyno testing and saved tunes
The dyno has a new screen, clearer guidance and better results. You can compare runs without trying to remember what the car made before your last change.
Pay $1,000 for a session with three pulls. Dino Cafe owners get unlimited pulls for free.
View live readings, completed results and comparisons with saved pulls.
Save tunes to your library and return to them later.
Tire heat and wear are disabled during the session and restored afterward.
Dyno load and telemetry have been corrected across drive modes, including consistent readings between two wheel drive and four wheel drive.
Warning runs are retained instead of automatically losing a paid result.
Steering feedback is suppressed during pulls and restored when you leave.
Updated the guide, camera handling, repair flow and dyno buttons.
OBD Scanner and PRO Tuner
The OBD Scanner is back on the phone, with a better view of what is happening inside the vehicle.
Check engine, drivetrain and service information, temperatures, wear and fault reports.
Receive low engine oil warnings and phone alerts.
Get clearer idle, boost and engine output information.
See wear estimates based on the lifespan of the vehicle class you're driving.
Service estimates use recent driving instead of jumping around with the current throttle position.
Buy the Kapoow Racing PRO Tuner license for $5,000.
Adjust supported wastegates from the phone and view your latest dyno sheet.
Added adjustable wastegate support for more fixed turbo setups.
Improved engine detection and maintenance information for hybrids, electric vehicles and modded engines.
Tractor pulls, Cleanup Club and car meets
Added Tractor Pull events and a new West Coast pulling arena.
Choose sleds from 8,000 to 30,000 lb and aim for a 300 foot full pull.
Added Cleanup Club jobs with cash, parts and project vehicles as possible rewards.
Expanded the available cleanup and recovery locations.
Added Bruckell Ravix and Cherrier Ardente owners' clubs for eligible vehicles.

Police duty now shows arrests, wanted vehicle information and BOLO details in the task list.
West Coast and map travel
Added the West Coast ferry terminal, Dino Cafe, Engine Works building and tractor pull arena.
Updated roads, parking, scenery and lighting around the new locations.
Improved lighting at Dino Cafe, Jerry's Backyard and the quarry.
Map travel now supports multiple vehicles, coupled trailers and cars loaded on a carrier.
Assign carried vehicles in the travel menu when they are not detected automatically.
Refresh the travel list and see clearer destination information.
Arrive at 8 AM on the destination map.
Keep vehicles and coupler relationships through supported travel, towing and save reloads.
Get clearer explanations when active work or rental obligations prevent travel.
Tow to road now moves a vehicle sitting on your hauler along with the truck.
Quick travel and recovery place you beside the vehicle, facing it.
Use the Weather app in Freeroam. West Coast's stock weather setup has also been restored.

The garage computer and business screens have had a broad refresh. Shopping, repairs and deliveries should be easier to read and use, especially with a controller.

Updated skill icons, level displays and progression summaries.
Saving
Choose an autosave interval from 5 to 60 minutes.
Autosaves wait until the vehicle is stopped and show a short countdown before writing.
Driving away during the countdown postpones the autosave.
Autosaves defer during races, missions and active workshop sessions.
A Saving career notice shows while the save is being written.
Vehicle purchases and other important transactions request a save when completed.
Fixed saves being skipped while walking or remaining queued indefinitely after a purchase.
Profile backups wait for an active save to finish.
Pay, progression and tire balance
Rebalanced Logistics base pay, job XP and unlocks.
Added cargo pay bonuses of 5% per Logistics level above level 30, reaching a maximum bonus of 100% at level 50.

Improved company reputation rewards and their display in delivery summaries.
Rebalanced taxi fares and recovery payouts around travel distance.
Corrected reward multipliers in material contracts, taxi, repo and ambulance work.
Reduced overall tread wear and improved heat handling for larger tires.
Burnouts and sustained sliding cause more wear than ordinary cruising.
Used vehicle tire condition now starts at a minimum of 40%.
Engine and business part values use consistent pricing based on their actual parts.
