I love dnd, one of my favorite passtimes and I definitely want to try DMing but I'm nervous about the improve but still something amazing and I think people should try with a great dm to help them get started

You should totally give it a try! I’d recommend trying one of the intro adventures, like lost mine of phandelver or dragon of icespire keep. The adventure will help walk you through the game and story, so it really helps support your improv with structure

I have played D&D in the past and I think it's awesome! My current group though we usually play Pathfinder which was heavily modeled after D&D 3.5 and I think I much prefer the Pathfinder system
