Jesus Christ, the Chris Chan section of this was flat out disturbing. I’ve been a victim of some malicious bullying, so I feel like I have at least a little insight into that mindset…but fuck, I can’t for the life of me fathom the level of depravity a person has to be at to do something like that to a mentally challenged person.

Now having listened to the whole thing: I went into this expecting to just be laughing at the absurdity of lolcows, but I came out of it disturbed and shocked at the insane lengths that weird losers on the internet will go to to make themselves feel superior.

I forget the exact details but i think blueskull was in middle or highschool when the PSN incident happened. Doesn't make it better morally but if my memory serves correct a chunk of the people who bullied chris were kids/youths and i think some of them recanted later on. Not sure how many of them were genuinely regretful vs saving face.

I've always felt super uncomfortable about the Chris Chan stuff, with like Spoony or Boogie they are to blame for their own state but Chris is just not capable of coping with the attention and the negging, Paul said it's like a fucked up real life Truman Show and that is so true I love that description.
