The cool thing about TJ's Gremlin solution at 1 hour 49 minutes in is that's how the sequel ends. At the end of The New Batch they spray the gremlins with a fire hose and as they start multiplying someone fires the electric gremlin at all the rest of them and they fry because they're wet. Aiso Waluigi has toon-force so he could easily beat over 50 quadrillion gremlins all by himself.

for Kirsty to win against Pinhead she had to reverse solve the lament configuration. I doubt Carrie could do that. Pinhead is an adept wizard known to use psychological manipulation and has been shown to be untouchable by objects in the physical environment not in Hell. Carrie would be screwed. But that being said, I’m happy Carrie won because having Pinhead win again would’ve been boring.

I think there's some middle ground with the Gremlin's reproducing ability. Making a beeline for the nearest water source and reproducing ad infinitum never seemed to be in the Gremlin's nature, since, like TJ pointed out, that's not what happens in any of the movies. Still, working out the limitations of that would probably take way too long so I get just nerfing them.

My pick to win this entire time was the gremlins. I had faith in the rolls and that they would provide enough environments with water sources they could use, but alas, they were robbed for fear of their power. Despite that, this was my favorite tournament so far. The Carrie discussion was my favorite part of the night. I wish a few contestants didn't get fucked so hard by the rolls, but that's the nature of the game. Great stream, guys.

Okay. Shang tsung being able to enter the tournament without going up the ladder with his OP ass abilities is wayy too unfair. I instantly already knew he was going to be the winner. You should have at least limited his abilities to copying mortal kombat characters only. I enjoyed watching still but this kind of ruined it a bit for me.

The hot streak should have made the opponent reroll until they got a significant disadvantage. It should have made it impossible for their opponent to have better luck then them. They also should have been allowed to roll an additional advantage (so reroll until the random factor thing was strictly beneficial for their character). So as per usual, you were all wrong.

In future tournaments, you could make it so that fight locations only get removed from the pool, if an associated entity is fighting there. That way, everyone can get their home field advantage at least once. For example, let's say pumpkinhead and warlock roll house of a thousand corpses. The location stays in the pool, maybe they'd have a fight there when the fireflies aren't home, so it 'makes sense' lore-wise. Later, the fireflies fight someone in the house of a thousand corpses, get the home field advantage and the location is removed from the pool. Maybe you could even factor in destructions and alterations of the location from previous fights that took place there - that might add another layer to this. So here, maybe the house is destroyed by the epic demon vs wizard battle and the fireflies' homefield advantage is reduced, because they can't access weapon stashes and hiding places as easily anymore...

I really think Shang Tsung would turn into Pamela Voorhees and manipulate Jason into attacking the Warlock. Jason might even be able to knock Warlock down to half HP and then the Warlock uses the berzerker tage to finish Jason. Then Shang Tsung has to finish Warlock who’s half defeated
