I will say the written advertisements are more for upper and middle class people. Literacy was rising but not common. Alot of the advertising aimed at common people was done by barkers

Alot of the time 17th century artists would paint one painting and then someone would see it and be like "make that for me!" And then you end up making like ten of the same painting. It's cool because you can see their techniques evolving sometimes while repainting the same subject matter
