The anti woke stuff is so boring and your takes are uninteresting and bad faith. I don’t even actually disagree with the side you’re on, it’s just your presentation is so dry and dumb. Like with the thing with the trans prisoner getting his surgery paid for and the response is “how does that affect you personally?” That same thing could be said of 99% of the content you guys react to. What a self centered place the world would be if everyone only cared about themselves. The real response should’ve been something about how the surgery would help them adjust psychologically and probably make them a more stable member of society in the future, or whatever the actual reason was that it was approved by the state. But that’s just one example. You guys are on the right side of these issues but for all the dumbest reasons. And even with the small stuff like you always bring up the Ben Shapiro WAP thing and it’s so cringe because it’s obvious that in the original video he was saying that it’s medically impossible/ unhealthy if you need a literal bucket and mop for how wet someone is. It was funny to meme on him for it though maybe the first couple times because it is Ben Shapiro, but it’s been years now and it’s obvious what he meant to say so it’s just annoying to hear the same boring jeer yet again. It’s boring, bland material, and it only appeals to the portion of your audience that is gonna stay subscribed no matter what. That’s what you don’t understand. You think because a lot of your audience likes it you should do more . But that’s the problem, you’re catering to the people who will give you money regardless. It costs 3x the price than the most expensive McDonald's items though. Here in Canada A&W are everywhere but are always empty, aside from early mornings where old people like to fill it up to get their sub par breakfast for $25, all because it comes on an actual plate. Their basic hamburger costs $5 plus tax and that's without cheese, just grilled onions and ketchup/mayo. It's nearly half the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger too. Fuck A&W.

Maybe that's just an Ontario thing, because here it's a running joke about how many A&Ws there are that nobody goes to aside from the old fucks in the morning. He's also not the CEO, he's just the spokesperson that did all the commercials for them. A teen burger also costs nearly $13 after tax here without the meal. It's not even that good. The only thing they have going for them is their sweet potato fries but those are stupid expensive too.

The whole concept of treating others the way you’d like to be treated is literally a foundational principle of human society. We 100% can judge historical figures for causing pain and suffering, you don’t have to be big brained to understand that others feel pain physical and emotional. We give to much ground to past crimes and abuses with that excuse of “they didn’t know any better” I understand that humans are shaped by their environment and institutions but to hand wave it completely with the “it was a different time” I think is far too simplistic. They still made their decisions to cause harm to others, in the case of slavery they definitely could understand that suffering was being inflicted upon others it wasn’t a complicated detached sort of thing. You could make the argument that they didn’t comprehend the larger forms of abuses or how to change the current systems to be more equitable but the day to day moral choices they understood just as well as anyone alive today. Humanity didn’t just develop basic empathy after the enlightenment. Humanity has always known it’s wrong to cause death and destruction.
