This commercial segment. I don't know how I feel about it. These commercials were the bane of the night when I was a child. When I was still ready to stay up but there was nothing but these damn commercials. I remember that fucking cake core thing I remember those god damn CDs. You guys have no clue how easy it would be to just walk onto a military base and just take a tank. It would be incredibly easy they aren't impenetrable fortresses.

Someone could literally chat up a soldier get them to take them back on base with them and they don't have to escort guests off base. Or someone could literally just jump the fence somewhere. It's easier for anyone to just take a tank than they think. They don't even require a key to start.

All a person would need is a pair of bolt cutters. No one would recognize they don't belong people don't watch the motor pool at night. We literally only did that once and it was because we were on a readiness alert or something. Other than that the tanks are not observed during the night or really even during the day unless they're being maintained.

Everyone has this idea that the second someone walks onto a military base it's like GTA and you get 5 stars immediately. The only thing that keeps more people from just taking a tank on a joyride is that perception of impenetrable security.

It really is. You think this is a joke but it really is that easy. There is no one that will notice you if you were to do such a thing. Once you're on base no one will notice you aren't supposed to be because you blend in.
