I have no problem with the humor in Evil Dead but I'm pretty sure Rami has wanted to focus on gore and body horror since the start he just didn't have the budget before so he had to lean into the cheese. That's why he's moved away from the humor in the newer ones to focus purely on the elements he wanted to from the start. I don't like it but you can't exactly control someone else's creative direction so we're stuck with it. I think that's why the show has been more about fan service and the newer films have been more what Ramis original vision was.

The thing about Platner that's so shitty is that he had several scandals leading up to this election and so many people stuck their necks out for him. He got his state very energized and got even young people out knocking on doors for him, and when he was asked straight up before the primary, if there are any more skeletons in his closet, he said no. Graham Platner is NOT anti-establishment lmao. Nor is he anti-isreal. He's a zio nist. And he's ex-military, ex-mercenary. He said in his policy platform that he wants to strengthen the US military and he wants to raise the wages of your pawns aka soldiers, so as to incentivize MORE young men to join up to the army. This is not "progressive", this is not "anti-establishment". This is not "anti-war". He literally wants to strengthen the biggest tool of the empire -- its uniformed thugs aka the military. The difference between the biden allegations vs the Platner allegations is that platner was a proud US marine aka he committed a litany of war crimes. he even bragged about enjoying mass murder on reddit. You guys aren't aware of any of this. Biden doesn't have a direct body count, as in he hasn't offed people with his own 2 hands. But Platner has, gleefully so. Read his own reddit comments. Is it really a leap to conclude that the bloodthirsty killer who brags about his violence MIGHT also be a grapist? So no, we don't have "the same level of evidence for biden as we do for Platner". We have MORE evidence againt Platner. Much more. Biden himself is a warcriminal and potential grapist himself and belongs in jail btw, i'm not defending Biden here.
