I've been thinking about capitalism and it's constant need for growth. While what I say may seem obvious I think it's important to continue to cover the basics over time. That constant growth can not last forever so a reset is a necessary part of the system that is prepared and planned for. Therefore it is my belief that every single economic downturn has been absolutely intentional on the part of the most influential parties involved as a pressure valve for growth. People forget then they argue about inconsequential nonsense, economic depression is not something that happens but something that is planned every hundred years or as long as the parties involved can push it. I think what looks like chaos from the outside is a carefully calculated flow that is increased and decreased as necessary for those behind the curtain. Of course this doesn't remove ineptitude and greed it merely weaponizes it and pushes it in a direction that is beneficial to those at the tippy top.

I've seen some crazy things on the other end of the Odyssey culture war as well. Like I watched Brad Jones review the film with Doug Walker and Doug was kinda meh about the film but not for "it's woke" reasons and the comments were saying that the Charlottesville protesters are now gonna rally around him. I noticed how you didn't mention the pros of the SLATE vs the cons of Ford. Hybrid engine means you get all the problems of both worlds and it's Ford so you know it's terrible and Ford is all about not letting you fix your own car.
