My Reds lost, the bill for car repairs came, plans got canceled and this somehow turned out to be a good day..

BruceyDaPug

I think all the money went to the cenobites design. They needed some better writers

Donkerly

There was a bunch of simping for this film when it came out, glad to see Paul is here with legitimate criticisms, as well as giving credit where its due. A swing in the right direction, but a miss nonetheless.

Sam I Am

Thank you for making this video, Paul!! <3

King247

Well the video game comes out in October so that'll be interesting

The Unruly Cosplayers

Him with Hellraiser is like us with Kingdom Hearts. No matter how enshittified Square and Disney get, no matter how meh the games can get, as soon as we see KH news we get all giddy

Lord Flaynus the flayed anus

No. I dont think its fatigue. This movie hit almost every box for me and I still felt nothing.

Elizabeth Allen

This is a pleasant surprise. I always love another entry into What the fuck happened to Hellraiser.

Elizabeth Allen

Funny that cinema for cynics returns when I am in a cinematic mood. Really a movie making mood, I would love a return of pitch wars from time to time. I've been conceptualizing a dark comedy that satirizes the billionaire bunker fantasy. It would be one of those really bloody grimy dark comedies. Probably won't ever get made but it's fun to visualize it in my head. I guess it wasn't the most popular segment at the time or something but I think it's worth trying again. Or even just a pitch themed segment without the competition element.

I actually really liked this movie, while the side characters could have been written better I thought pinhead was done extremely well and very close to Clive barkers original version from the book. Luckily this came out before people were screaming about how everything was woke so a female pinhead didn’t enter the “discourse “ lmao. I really hope they make another movie with her and it can reach the heights that Hellraiser 2 reached in comparison to the original film.

Considering I've only watched 1, 2, and this new one - I thought it was actually pretty good, but then again I haven't seen it since release.
