great episode guys, thank you.

Bigass Frog

I agree that there's nothing wrong with wealth. If people earn it by working hard or producing something of value, great. But there's a big difference between being a better worker/producer and a lying, cheating, stealing scammer. And there's also a big difference between being a rich person and being a billionaire. Like TJ said, they don't need to be obscenely super rich, being rich should be reward enough. These aren't regular rich people. They're sociopathic leeches. Their greed will never be satisfied. That defending the rich status quo shit is the reason I still dislike conservatives way more than obnoxious smarmy liberals.

ounocat

TJ, I beg you. Stop shouting into the microphone. I'm nearly deaf and if you keep going how will I hear your opinions?

Breonna Rice

I don't know if eugenics is even truly a bad concept. It seems to mostly have gotten a bad rap because controversial people were supporters of it. It does conjure up the idea of selective outcasting or sterilizing, at least to me somewhat. Then again is sterilization even bad either? Peoole are so greedy for their own little copies to be born. I think you can have a family even if the child is very different from you. They are people. What if there were people with exceptional genes that donated, and the populace could either adopt or implant? I have heard the arguement that only the wealthy would be able to pay to select genes for their children thus creating a greater divide in society. As a whole though it seems good. Perhaps if there was a way to make it more available... It just seems worth a try if you could possibly keep people from being born with a plethora of diseases and disorders! Better for their life and ours. Then perhaps we can strive to thrive after that point; make people born with more enduring bodies and minds.

Idk if i can masturbate for three and a half hours straight but damn it I will try

This. No problem if an overachiever wants a big house and a boat; however, once they get to the point where their needs and luxuries are covered just stop. That excess wealth does them no good and could be used to improve the lives of everyone.

Sergey S

Actually, really enjoyed your diatribes about the world, would be totally OK if that segment was the hole show

Zero Divisor

Thanks for finally settling the GIF argument. I know we thought it was settled before, but no.

Zero Divisor

I love TJ's little laugh after Scotty goes nuclear. "Hehehehe"

Nicholas Barnes

This is one of the most thoughtful and interesting Abandon Hopes that I have seen. Really enjoy listening to the conversations between TJ and Scotty. Well done.

Connor

Hahaha! Glenn looks like a fat doppelgänger of Leon Trotsky!

Excellent episode 👍

"keep people from being born with a plethora of diseases and disorders" - might easily happen that the definitions will shift or get twisted and somebody will try to fix things that need no fixing...

dyslexia

I know a girl who had seizures after she went full vegan. Not saying it's the diet but......... Hmmmmm . She also tried to shame me on social media for eating rabbit 😂🐇🍖🥩

Restitutor Orbis

That dude that made the video about Carlin is a big youtuber now on Game Theorists and an another channel where he talks about the "science" in video games. Hes cool but I am not surprised to see this video.

Clyde Frog

Pshh. Fuck that cunt. I guarantee she would eat a rabbit too if she was hungry enough.

dyslexia

@ Jonathan Schmidt, she happens to have pet rabbits she rescued, after she tried to shame me I told her that her pets looked delicious

My new favorite Scottyism is "electrical college" at 2:50:50

putting homeless people into homes is taking fish out of the pond that the private prison industries pay politicians to keep stocked

Bigass Frog

I've been watching your videos for years between TAA, DP and DFF and I literally just now for the first time realized what Right Wing Watch actually is. I genuinely believed for YEARS that it was a conservative platform proudly sharing absurdly stupid ideas among a conservative viewerbase. It never once occurred to me that it was dedicated to exposing conservative stupidity because I thought that was like...apparent. Wow. All this time, I was the moron.

Just_A_Guy

Abandon Hope is a great show!

Eric Fartman

Gavin McInnes and Ted Nugent are probably the most far-right.

This might of been my favorite episode of Flash Fried. I would still want kids even if the planet is over populated. I know its wrong. It's not rational. But if I ever got married and truly loved my wife. I would want us to settle down and raise a family. I would try to make my kids the type of future adults that can make a difference to addressing all the future problems and present.

Josh Martin

Glen beck looks like he forgot to take off his progressive insurance uniform before the interview

John Morgan

2 episodes of Flash Fried in one week!

i have a vegan friend and she grew up on a farm. Her family kept rabbits. she thought they were pets but her dad was actually feeding them to her not realising it was fluffy, so i can understand why she's vegan

KOHP111

is Abandon Hope still just atheist rants?

Robert Wolf

I left Twitter and my life feels better and I used Twitter for less than a year (not counting porn)

I thought Sweden was turning into the worlds rape capital?

As far as the higher taxes issue goes, I think we should hold the government more accountable with the money it already takes vs. taxing any group more. There's so much government waste that could be cut and tax dollars saved.

I raped Jesus in his tomb

2:45:00 For this Taco Bell story, if this fat Marco Rubio walked up to me, I would think that he was some hard partier, hard drinker, hard drug user through his teens and 20s. One day, he has a heart attack and wakes up and realizes he has no money, he abandoned his family long ago, he has no job, and he has no real friends and turns to religion because it is literally the only thing that will keep him from killing himself.

Phoenix Rises

You remind me of myself ending up the conversation to economic system, capitalism. I'm communist btw. Also the overpopulation of the planet is not the problem, there are no evidence that killing people (i know you didn't say this but just saying the ultimate solution according to this theory) will magically save the planet resources. Who holds the resources is the problem and how these resources are managed is the problem, thus capitalism. What you describe as capitalism on a leash is what social democracy is saying and we all know this has failed. You just can't put a leash to the wolf, he is gonna devour you, is stupid, you need to kill the wolf.

Abandon Hope and DFF are the fucking shit man.

Jarod

when you cram 15 people together in a small house its like anyone else. they get agitated, they're poor so they rob each other which starts fights etc. the evidence has been long out on that system failing. we need a new one not the same.
