Jesus christ. I cant wait to watch this. I knew this movie existed, but could never bring myself to watch it because of my love for the book and original movie. If anyone out there hasn't read the book, check it out, it's fantastic. The author goes into so much manic detail that is left out of the movie. Patrick basically describes every outfit he wears in excruciating detail every time he changes clothes, or in a new scene. Its pretty funny. I swear to god I called that the black dude would also be a sociopath the first time I saw him with that notebook.

Okay, I know you guys said it a lot, but this film makes zero sense. Like, when they're in the restaurant and the shrink asks to talk to her he calls her Ms. Newman and the parents don't react. So either she shares a last name with the girl whose identity she stole or she's so crazy she thinks they're her mom and dad and they don't know what their daughter looks like. Also, how does killing someone and "taking their place" even work? Ugh, my head hurts.

This was originally supposed to be a standalone concept that didn't involve American Psycho. But the first one was so good the studio tried to suckle more out of a franchise so they changed the script to make it Patrick Bateman.

That movie wasn't even supposedo to be an American psycho sequel. It started out as just some slasher comedy and then someone slapped the patric2 bateman nonsense. Anyway ,I see you guys later at dorsias,Eric Halberstram is going to be there too. I'll just return some videotapes in the meantime .

You know, usually, I really enjoy your Cinima for Cynics Commentaries. However, I finally got to watching this one...and I just felt awful...This movie, the commentary did not save any of the experience. It was just so damn boring. And so "Whyyyyy?? Whaaat? Oh Come on thats just retarded!" I am so sorry someone made you watch this. If only I'd been there to stop it.
