The Joker movie looks like a sequel to 1982s King of Comedy starring Robert Deniro.

CodeWiskeySky

Dose of dff last night and AGAIN tonight man am i fucking FULL BITCH

Adam Newman

God dammit, fucking vimeo

mango raccoon

better late than never! thanks for the contento boys

Matthew Yoppini

Fuck this Vimeo shit it’s a horrible site. I know YouTube sucks but at least it works most of the time.

Mdxfiend

audio is being picked up twice on pauls mic.

DoomKid

More delicious content. This is why DFF and their fans are all fat. Constantly full!

DFFPodcast
>>26256255

It wouldn’t be this show if we weren’t plagued with audio issues. Thanks for letting us know. We will resolve that for in the future.

Lil View

Yo boys... I fucking love you dudes. But what's the reason for posting exclusively to Vimeo all of the sudden? Is there a specific reason behind this? If there is, I'd like to know why. It's just very inconvenient for some of us.

Clint

Paul seems to have an eco in his mic. What’s the point of the sound guy if he can’t do his job to make sure that this doesn’t happen. Bad sound guy! Bad boy!

Vedren

Elseworlds are all well and good, but I need the emo sympathetic Joker as much as I needed the emotionally crippled Pa Kent from Man of Steel. I suppose Darkseid was bullied as a child. He is gonna find the Anti-Life equation and take it out on all those meanies!

Richard Armstrong

🎶Im gonna take my scooter down the interstate gonna ride till my tires deflate.🎶

Home of da BONE

From Louisville, KY, can confirm TJ said it "correctly".

Jason the Historian

merchandising. merchandising where the real money from the movie is made.

Marcos

I think eugenics would save humanity the eventual dystopia of over population we're going to face. Eugenics is imensly unpopular but I think most of hummanity is too stupid to know what's good for them. lots of people worship fairy tales, and don't believe in climate change. So, we can't just wait around for dumb asses to smarten up to solve problems.

Lady V. Paprika

Let's everyone as a collective agree it's time to launch the apocalypse, it's every man, woman, child, or anything in between for themselves and it's a free for all to do whatever you want. Just make the world into total anarchy where nowhere is safe, there isn't an economy, though you could still do barter, and where comfort doesn't exist anymore for anyone. Level the fucking playing field and at that point, we won't have any of these modern issues because 90+% of the population would simply just starve to death. At that point, you can rebuild and you make use of the books and information of old, hopefully there's any preserved at that point, and rebuild a future with tech that comes closer to modern age. This is an almost over night solution, because it only takes like a week to starve, it takes months for cans of food to spoil, but they're not infinite and one person can only handle so many cans at once, and most people don't know how to farm to subsist and would rely heavily on hunting which would still cause most people to die because meat preservation is shockingly lost on most people. So like, a year tops, most of the Earth's people are yeeted from existence and those of the able can start over on the ashes of the past in like 5-10 years, 30 tops. I don't really endorse this, but good fucking god do I wish it would happen just like that some times with some of the people on this planet. Unfortunately, there's one who I wouldn't want surviving who would who's related to me and thinks that the US government is hiding space high-ways he found on Google Earth. I'm not making that up and he's trying to teach his 2 children that stuff and his wife is complicit in all of it.

I believe that one of the main reasons was because asshole Patrons were taking the YouTube links and sharing them on a Discord server (or some other platform) and essentially giving paid content to non-Patrons. And honestly, I have been a Patron since it came out. $5 a month is SOOO worth it for the amount of content they put out. If people don't want to contribute, then fuck them. I don't want them getting it for free.

ChancesRslim

DFF= Overpopulation PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Elizabeth Ann Duffy

What's that mean? It's means we're fucked Paul. Totally, and royally, fucked.

Elizabeth Ann Duffy

Also, Johnson wasn't even elected. He was crowned by his fellow Tory bastards. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an entire bottle of rum to chug to escape that reality.

Jonathan Fesmire

The human population doubles approximately every 35 years, and that's been the case for centuries, at least.

Al Ex
>>26259681

So who gets to decide who is "stupid"? I mostly agree with you, but the problem is, there are people who think we are stupid and would have us killed.

Rob

Beginning of the show: “Wow the new Joker trailer is cool!” End of the show: “We are perpetually getting closer and closer to the collapse of human civilization as we know it.”

Jacob bastian

I think its pretty obvious that The Joker movie will do the dark knight returns scene where joker goes on tv and kills the show host and entire audiance.

DoomKid

ROFL the trajectory from movie talk to “we are all fucked” made this a top notch episode

Trippy dude

Why does vimeo suck so much donkey dick?

Paul Duncan
>>26256230

They use it because people were spreading the YouTube link about to non-patrons. Blame those people for this.

SarahJRandomNumbers
>>26255840

I too like the choice between tiny rectangle or full 3440x1440 full screen. I certainly wouldn't want it in a "cinema" window consuming the top right of the screen, as I do with youtube videos.

Xenos Nassar

So no more YouTube for Patreon videos?

Xenos Nassar

Okay but why is there consistently a creepy guy sitting in the back that says nothing every episode now?

Adolf Maybach

Housing prices are high because you(especially canada and australia tho) let foreigners (chinese) buy your fucking land as they wanna get their wealth out of china. And also stuff is not necessarily getting more expensive currency is just getting more worthless thanks to rampant inflation due to qe its all just tp keep it running a couple more years because the markets apparently havent grown enough already

Adolf Maybach

And is overpopulation really a problem if all these people are capable and intelligent advancing progress in an ever advancing way? Sounds to me lile it is just a quality problem. More of the right and less of the wrong people

timic83

don't even bother covering foreign stories if you're just gonna bullshit DP your way through them.

timic83

i love listening to minutes on end of shitty DP banter with no way to speed up. upload to youtube, noobs.

timic83

stop using right wing watch as source, labelling trashheap.

SarahJRandomNumbers

It'd be really nice if you guys could actually learn something about the UK, and Brexit, and what's actually happening, seeing as your entire section on prorogation was 100% wrong. I would list all the things wrong, but it would start to look like a YouTube comment.

JoeyDigChair

Paul doesn't know what he's talking about.

Jay Devons

So, are you guys sticking with vimeo? I don't think I'm going to renew. It's too much of a hassle trying to watch it on there. Be sure to mention in the public videos if you ever start putting patreon stuff back on youtube and I'll re-subscribe. Sorry guys. I know you're trying to curb link sharing, but a lot of times, things like that end up burning everyone. Anyways, thanks for the fun times though!

BettaPonic
>>26260361

Citation? Because I remember a humanity with tons of limiting factors. We didn’t hit one billion until the 1800’s.

BettaPonic
>>26262903

Yeah, but historically asking who the quality people are is never done in a rational way.

BettaPonic
>>26263290

Don’t they usually just use it to find certain characters they like and then let base it off that persons words? Like Rick Wilds? There most entertaining nut jobs come from there.

Trevor Lahey

Paul if you want to rag on a candidate for being a senile old man go after Biden. Bernie is still razor sharp compared to him. I hate to say it but even Trump doesnt fall over himself as much as handsy uncle Joe.

Lil View
>>26265257

You'd think with 5000 patrons they wouldn't even care. Hell, if I had access to some free link I'd still continue to be a patron anyway. This Vimeo thing isn't gonna work for me either though.

Colton sawyer

Paul when thanos snapped his fingers he returned to titan or whatever planet he was on and destroyed the stones he wasnt waiting and watching to come snap again

John Morgan

I'm going to pull my funds if TJ doesn't get some plastic surgery... hassle to have to look at his ugly face.

Bienenreiter

I'm not saying that people who talk about overpopulation are racist or even support eugenics, but I do think that overpopulation is highly overdramatized. There is a good book by the name "Empty Planet" that deals with how the UN report about population growth is probably wrong because it doesn't take into account all the technological changes (Even people in Indian slums have smartphones now... and smartphones do influence fertility rates) and urbanization. Even a professor who has constantly talked about the dangers of overpopulation has now said that he doesn't think that it will be as bad as it was estimated. Alternative estimates published by other researches who research population growth go even so far as to say that population growth will stop around 2050 (Probably aroudn 9 billion) and afterwards will at the beginning shrink slowly, then very fast and probably will never go up again. Hence our problem in 100 years will not be overpopulation, but rather an "overaging" since less and less young people will be born, whereas old people will get older. All of this of course probably will only happen if we survive and deal with climate change and if our world economic system doesn't collapse.

Berzerk

No other show would talk about this. No other show would have three hosts intelligent enough to have conversations of this magnitude. No other show has been so entertaining, yet so informal. No other show is as good as this show. I love DFF. That is not some trite little statement; I honestly am changed as a person because of this show, this infantile show about dicks and farts. DFF is art. Podcasting at its finest... Do a fart.

H3Vtux
>>26274291

Agreed. It's not that the planet is overpopulated it's that certain areas are too populated and not managed properly.

Ronaldo Villegas

Why is there so much echo is Paul's voice in this episode??

Slizenberg

paul needs to look into blockchain voting

Sightless

My coworker has 8 kids now and I try not to think about it cause I wanna puke

Matt Roper

Disappointed there was no discussion on trumps nuke the hurricane idea

Erick Hecksher

Excelent episode my friends, I really liked the overpopulation passionate discussion. Really enjoyed the energy and well thought arguments. Would love to see y'all three dudes on Joe Rogan discussing in more depth this topic. I like TJ's ideas of propaganda and incentives, I would also throw adoption in there, but I also agree with Paul, he's just skipping the "try something" part and being realistic. Good job!

Brian

Please stop posting to Vimeo. Want to watch on my TV.

Wjyndigo

Damn I want the Fatsputin shirt.

Matt

You guys really put the “Pessimist” in “Pessimist Productions” this week.

Thomas Burns

Overpopulation is not an issues as countries develop their birth rates naturally turn to equal to death rates or negative. Also you guys are bringing shit up like eugenics and your left if you bring that shit to table it will be used in a extremely discriminatory way.

The Mollusk Rising

I like the DP banter, hasn't watched DP in months. One big rerun over there. I want an episode about DP. I still able to deal with that show until it became a money milk show that must be taking lessons from Steve McRae, take some pitty and pocket that shit.

John Roso

As a native Kentuckian, ya'll did get the pronunciation of how to say Louisville. That's how I can tell if people are from Kentucky/Ten. Lue-vul

patrik

Wow, another vimeo episode totally fucking unwatchable on my android phone. Might aswell release the episodes on VHS while your at it at broken fucking media. If the reason you switch to vimeo is because people are "spreading " the link let me tell you a hard truth: YOU ARE LOSING MUCH MORE PATRONS IN THE LONG RUN THAN YOU ARE GAINING BY USING VIMEO

John

Vimeo is telling me that I’m “temporarily blocked.” I watched half the episode and now can’t finish the rest before my patronage ends.

mango raccoon
>>26304067

vimeo doesnt copyright strike and allows downloading of video inherently on the platform get a better phone neet

Danny Jones

Borris Johnson wasn't voted in by the UK Public, he was elected by conservative party members. Saying the vote for Brexit to leave EU is inherently a negative thing for the UK is incorrect and conversely saying it is a positive for the UK is also incorrect. No one actually knows the outcome of leaving the EU and besides good or bad democracy was the elected tool for the decision and that should be respected. Regardless leaving the EU has both pros and cons.

Jeremy Geller

Your right the mentality had to change, thanks learned that and then jumped to the logical conclusion, that he can’t just remove half, he has to rip it all out and start at the beginning again

Matt Schilling

I love how everyone is like "FUCK YOUTUBE!" but when they actually try to use a different platform everybody complains about that too.

Bigass Frog

This is why I truly believe that the benevolent A.I thing is the only possible way our society isn't going to collapse. All these cute little half-measures we're taking, like fighting for human rights, universal healthcare, taxation that shifts the burden of a capitalist system slightly off the backs of the poor, etc. are more or less pointless. And I agree that you have to take some measures and that they will make a small bit of difference, but I don't think there's anything short of global nuclear annihilation or a benevolent A.I that will that could actually save humanity. And the former would probably just reset the clock by ten thousand years and we (humanity) would wind up in a similar situation again. A.I is the only way as far as I can tell. We are simply not intelligent enough to manage the affairs of a global population, and groups of people are even LESS intelligent than individuals. BUT ANYWAYS, I'm curious, Paul: if a benevolent A.I determined that the most humane outcome to save humanity was to painlessly execute 95% of the population, would you take issue with that? Because getting rid of 50% wouldn't do dick, and unless you have a better idea to not only slow down population growth but drastically reduce the population before the planet is completely trashed, what other option is there? Let the A.I cull the herds and restore balance in a way a sociopathic narcissist like Thanos never could. Anyways, great ep. I enjoy when you guys disagree a little bit, it adds some extra fire to the show and makes the discussion more interesting. Thanks fuckers! Edited: accidentally said "latter", meant "former".

stuart pullinger

We laugj at the US for voting in Trump. No one in the UK voted Boris in except the tory party as their new leader. We vote in parties not people, the parties select their own people.

John

Thanks guys, video is working now.

Dread

Listen guys I don't want kids but my girl has baby fever and likes to be tied up so I'm probably going to lose this battle sorry :-P

I think only salty creators who got spoiled with ad revenue are yelling that.

Adam

Can we get a "Dude, man" shirt with Scotties face on it
