Hey guys, we are considering some changes to the way we approach DFF episodes, and your input is extremely valuable to us. It would be very helpful to this process, if you could tell us a little bit about how you consume our main shows.

Thank you,

DFF Crew

Comments

Matthew Lee

There's not enough visually happening (usually just a still image) that I usually listen and play videogames

Kyle Jordan

Usually I listen while working, but really enjoy the format as is when I watch on my days off.

Anonymous

definitely #3, I'm usually listening when I'm working out or playing a game but if something funny is happening I'll tune into the screen real quick

Brandon Erickson

It depends on the show for me and my schedule. Flash Fried I tend to only take glances, but regular shows will have topics that are more visual heavy and keep my eyes on it.

Dolla Billz

It really depends on the episode. For the episode on Akira Kurosawa we blew it up on a movie screen, for the Dogs episode I put my phone in my pocket and did chores.

Barrel Titor

Do not make the show a static screen. Insult the audience more too. It makes us feel like family.

Anonymous

I spend all my free time editing a wiki I'm an admin of so I play it as background noise and occasionally look over.

Armando

I usually play video games while listening which sucks because I can’t soundwhore

CJ Stardust

I watch every show when it first comes out but listen to the public ones on iTunes when I’m at school or out doing something. I think making some audio only episodes could be cool as it’s harder to visualize what y’all are talking about when listening.

Ben Livingston

As long as the audio is good I can deal with less visual aids. I try to watch when I have time but if I'm having a busy week I'm squeezing the episodes in while I am commuting and doing household chores

El Barto

I do think there should be an option between 1 and 2, because while I do watch while doing other things, it's generally mindless things like diablo, and most of my attention is focused on the show.

Miles Mobley

Depends on the day. I like to watch them during work because it makes work passable. But other times I’ll save it to watch at home with nothing else going on. I watch the Flash Frieds mostly during work. And if I care about the DFF topic I’ll make sure to watch it on its own. But I most definitely rewatch the content during work tho, especially if you guys kill it(the episodes for me where you kill it are on the heavy banter opening)

Treaded Water

When I'm at home and the show is available I'll have it playing on my second monitor, the same way I watch movies or other podcasts. If I'm at work I'll listen to it on my smart phone either by streaming it through my browsing app or if possible downloading the audio file the night before. Only rarely will I stop working to look at my phone, usually when one of you guys says "If you're just listening you need to look at this."

Asher N Scarlett

I’m still in the #3 fosho but can we do a vote for no more close-ups on Paul? please and thank you

LauraO.

I usually listen to the show when I'm at work or doing chores so I rarely look at the screen

YourEvilBoyfriend

If able I watch the shows on a big screen but I usually listen at work through headphones.

The Mollusk Rising

I listen at work! Those audio links make my day. I don't get time to watch the ones that don't have the audio link. Kinda sucks when you pay for it but that's my problem. Thanks for what you do.

Skrizz ThaDizz

I watch alot of time, but sometimes im doin shit so I'll just have it on the phone while I'm washing dishes or whatever.

N

I think it's an advantage for you guys that people are listening. Not many people would commit to watching something for two hours, but they probably would commit more than that if they're listening to it doing cleaning up their house, working out, rolling a joint, playing a game, etc.

PhoenixBB

I usually watch this podcast while playing video games or doing something like homework, with my phone in my lap or on my desk so I can glance at it occasionally Sometimes I'll just listen to you guys while walking somewhere, but usually for that I listen to less visual oreinted podcasts

ultrasound700

I listen at work but my job is pretty slow so I can sometimes pull out my phone to see what's happening if it sounds interesting.

Chris X

Mostly hanging on every word, occasionally multi-tasking while watching

Red Rocket

I download them and play them while I'm in the car, in the shower or in bed

Blake

I print every individual frame of the show and make a giant flip book and then process the audio through a Gilbert Godfried voice filter. That's how I prefer to watch.

Vermin_Antichrist

So it really depends. I’ll watch DFF on my switch connected to my tv if I’m using my computer to draw. If I’m driving I just listen to it.

GodsButtMonkey

Depends on the episode. I usually don't care much for any of the political ones, so I'll have it going in the background while playing a game or driving. But the ones that really interest me like anything involving animals or the history of whatever, I usually will watch intently.

Grampaw Jim

Most of the regular shows are mainly still images, so unless a video gets played or switched back to the cast, I mainly listen and occasionally glance. I mainly listen when I drive or play video games as well.

Wingit98

I typically consume it anally

Kevin

Couldn't get through work without them, extend the banter

Neil Fowlie

no option for masturbating? or just count that in other?

Julie ?

They get me through the day at work, so I really only look if an interesting picture comes up or Tj jiggles his magnificent titties

Neil Fowlie
>>29309654

yeah a lot of the shows have still images, sometimes for 10 minutes at a time.....people won't watch the screen

Trippy dude

I only just listen if I'm traveling somewhere or about to go to sleep. Otherwise I watch in on my living room tv

Really Dick Nixon

It really depends on the episode but for a good portion of them I'm listening and checking in visually occasionally. Doing chores, dishes, jackin it ect. Thanks for all you do fellas. Love the show!

Jacob Johnston

I watch it at night after work. I’d say I’m listening mostly intently 70% the time, while the other 30% is background noise while I game or clean the house.

Repulse

If the topic is more eye catching for me I'll watch like option 1 intently watching.

VitaminC

Almost exclusively audio as I listen to you guys while at work or while driving. I'm not on my PC to watch you guys on a regular basis.

MARCUS

I’m a multitasker by my very nature, so I’m likely to be doing some work on my computer while listening to you three in the background. Occasionally, a topic will come up and it will peak my interest enough to warrant a glance (or a watch if the topic is focused around topics which reflect my creative endeavors). I particularly liked the Caligula episode in the early days of the deep fat frying of topics (I like it when you three behave as notators on historical topics). Hope this helps crew, keep up the great work!

Rav

I’ll listen to you guys while I’m working. The downloadable episodes make thy possible

Ssemaje Jhrvys

If I get a chance, I will try to watch the show. Otherwise I'll listen to it and look away the screen and rewind to see what I missed.

Connor

I like seeing you guys interact with each other, and to see what’s going on. Xandalar does some funny reactions in the background sometimes too.

SwearWorks

I usually size the video screen window small and in the corner so I can watch and listen while doing other work on my large monitor. Then for funny or interesting stuff I'll maximize the video, watch for a little while that way, and then go back to smaller video in corner and working on other stuff.

SimpleSlides

I have a multi monitor setup and on one of my bigger displays DFF plays so I have it to watch while I do other things

Mdxfiend

Dual monitor setup. DFF on one vidya on the other

Smack Millan

Watch about half or so usually, but listen to all of it.

Maryjane Saja

I have the show in a tiny window in the corner of my computer while I do work when I'm not on my computer I mainly just listen

Thomas Levy

Listening while gaming / driving / walking my dog, rarely look when it sounds like there's something interesting.

Brokenxwing

I watch it sometimes, and sometimes I just listen to it and play a game. It depends usually on what I feel like doing that day. I also watch your videos a lot on my phone or tablet while I play video games on my TV or while I'm not able to be by a monitor or TV. I do have a secondary monitor, but it's kind of far from my bed so I haven't really used it for videos much. I just got a laptop a few days ago, so I may also sometimes watch your videos on there. But a lot of the time recently I guess I mostly just listen and look when I can or if something interesting happens. I like to watch Flash Fried clips sometimes when I need a short video to watch, and I usually watch the full episodes during a game. Same with Abandon Hope. But some episodes I'll watch and give more of my attention. It can depend on whether or not it interests me.

Yowlen

watching if at home, mostly listening while at work

Jonathan Rainville

Sometimes I watch it "hanging on every word" but for the most part I listen while working or doing dishes or stuff like that.

Victor

I listen to the show on my phone while trying to sleep from time to time.

SuperDarthKelly

I watch either while playing video games or driving, so mostly I just listen

Nicholas Hamilton

I relax and get something to eat and watch you full screen like a movie except the first 10 minutes and when you have a still image up to long or go on a rant about something other than the subject so it's kinda like 1 & 2 I don't actively do other stuff and want to watch more but I don't think anything needs to change because I expect the rants and thats one of the things I like about you guys lol

SWEGTA

It all depends on what you guys are doing. If it's an episode with a lot of videos playing, then I'll pay more attention to the screen. If it's all commentary and pictures, then I'll occasionally look at the screen.

Luxieto Chetta

I play games while I listen. I occasionally look if something important happens or my Kenshi squad is busy training 😁

Niall Meadows

Thank you very much for your work gentlemen. I hang on your every word and watch clockwork orange style. <3

Austin Hewitt

I listen with one earbud in while I practice piano.

Regan Thompson

I definitely have a sort of ritual watching the episodes, I pay very close attention because it’s like my break from all bullshit for the week.. flash fried I can watch more passively

Greg

I listen mostly but I do not want videos as a format to end for you guys ♥️

AARON

Mostly listen when I'm on commutes. Tried watching once. However, TJ and Scotty have the same exact ticks that, while endearing, made the show hard to watch

Slizenberg

Most the time I listen to it while playing a game or something, but every now and then I'll watch it depending on the what it is

Nicholas

depends where i am, i usually have the screen split with the show on one side and whatever else i'm doing on the other when i'm at home. i listen to the audio when i'm at work

Fried Poptarts

I listen to it at work when i'm doing other things. I'll only glance at it if i hear laughter or if paul falls down or something.

James Warren

i listen while i game, when it sounds like something funny is happening ill pause the game and watch the show.

FirstInLastKappa

I generally watch the show while I'm playing games with it on my second monitor or I just listen to them while i do chores around my house

Vedren

I watch intently, unless it is something I'm not interested in. I imagine I am watching intently about 8 out of 10 episodes.

Jaseeka Rawr

I watch, pretty much exclusively. I tried just listening the other day while doing housework but ended up rewinding because I missed something visually. :)

Evan Wright

I'll usually only listen, but I do listen intently. If you guys say something like "OMG LOOK AT THAT!", then I'll look.

Pissed off mushroom

I am sometimes watching if there is nothing I'm doing but mostly doing work at the same time.

John Morris

It’s a combination of several for me and depends on the situation personally

justin Brown

Think the visuals are pivotal for some episodes, others are fine as audio only. But audio only is a no go for me unless I have already seen the episode.

LeannaLu

I listen while I’m at work on week days. If I’m at home watching it, it’s usually while I’m doing chores or cooking, etc.

Magatama

It really depends. If there''s a topic I'm interested in, I watch the actual video. If it's something I'm not that interested in, it's a toss up between whether I watch or just listen to the episode.

Mark Major

Always listening at work.

Ultra_Jerky

I have two monitors and i play vidja gaymes on one while you guys are on the other. It's like 60% listening, 40% watching. If i get a bit distracted and miss something you guys said i just rewind it a bit.

Dep

I listen at work, so I only look if the image in question sounds especially enticing. You know, like butts and stuff

XYVARIA

I usually watch while gaming or doing other things, usually looking over whenever there's a new photo on the screen or something important to look at like graphs or statistics

Fernando Simões

For the thematic and patron episodes, DDnDD and cynema for cynics, I watch the show intently, depending of the subject discussed, especially if there are images and/or videos being displayed. For Flash Fried, the Pre Post Show, Highdeology and Abandon Hope, I mostly listen while I'll doing other stuff. Basically, my visual attention depends of how much is happening on the screen.

Void Whisperer

Voted other. It is split evenly between the first two options.

dabqu

I listen while I'm walking/driving, and sometimes while I go to sleep- but I exclusively use YouTube to listen.

Manglebelly

I would like more visuals.

Xenos Nassar

I only watch while I masturbate.

Poop Poop

I watch 'Deep Fat Fried' religiously! Great stuff, Love it!!! 💩 Poooooop 💩

Jason Clark

Looks like most people are in my boat. We are the moral majority

Hereticked

You're background noise while I game, clean my house or lift weights. I do glance at the screen now and then, but let's face it... You're all pretty ugly.

Charles Houston

I commute to work via the train every morning at 5:00, so I don't have time to watch any of your videos, but I love your content so much, so I download the audio, edit it in Audacity, and listen to it on my music player. I can listen to music at work, so eight to ten hours go by fast with plenty of entertainment from you three gentlemen.

OldManLogan

I usually listen at work, so I cant watch it 100% of the time. However, when you guys are like "look at how big her ass is," I pause it for a minute and bring up the screen.

Jack of Tears

I would be sad, and honestly watch less, if this just became a podcast with no video. I'd say I watch about 50% of the content, browsing or looking at other stuff while I listen but always coming back when a video is played or a picture is put up. Sometimes I like to pop back in and just see what kind of wacky stuff you're all doing while you record. Of the Youtube channels I've watched in the past, I can say that I've stopped listening to 100% of those that became podcasts without video.

My name is Jerry

I listen to this almost every single day at work

Caleb

I listen to it if I’m travelling but if I’m at home I watch the video. A lot of the time video is crucial for the episode,

Marc Geener

I listen while I drive or do chores, mostly. I tend to watch a bit of the beginning after I’ve gotten the video set up. If it sounds like something visually interesting is going on I will try to catch it.

Forbidden Fruit Basket

I prefer seeing you guys, but I am usually at work staring at another screen while listening to the show.

Sabrina

I don't watch deep fat fried, just tj

Nick Carroll

I almost always listen to flash fried, however I'll frequently look at deep fat fried.

Infams

I listen while I take a bath,prepare food,browse the internet,play a game,but there are episodes when I watch more than others,on my second monitor.

spaceSuicide

Other - At work I re-listen to episodes or episodes that have topics that don’t 100% need the video examples you guys show. When I’m home I’m either watching it on my desktop or tablet in the video format whether it be YouTube or Vimeo. I consume every episode without distractions regardless. At work I used to watch the videos on the YouTube app but it drains the battery too much these days so I have to stick to audio.

Ester Fernandez

PLEASE do a cinema for cynics on fear and loathing in Las Vegas;-; or a Hunter S. Thompson =DFF!

Restitutor Orbis

I watch on my phone and listen on my comp while I play games. I think it would suck to lose the face cams etc.

WC

I like listening to it while out walking around or driving. If I'm consuming your content at home then I'm playing video games with the show on a screen nearby, looking at the show whenever something interesting happens. I wouldn't want you guys to do content that require my full attention because of a lot of reliance on visuals, but at the same time I wouldn't want a full-audio podcast because it's nice seeing you guys react to things.

projab

I watch on my second monitor while playing games or on an ipad while doing dishes.

Harrison Stewart

I download the show off of YouTube or via the mp3 link. I do this so I can listen to it at work.

Booze and Bullshit Show

I watch while I take public transportation to work. Offline viewing is most important to me. I watch every day and bandwidth adds up quickly. YouTube's offline playing is currently the best.

LGStarman

Some episodes I will watch the visuals if they add to what’s being said. I think my attention to visuals depends on the episode

stuart pullinger

I watch intently as recreation or listen/watch while gaming. Which depends on topic. Mostly Flash Fried and face offs for the latter and DFF shows for the former.

stuart pullinger

Oh and I game while consuming abandon hope and highdeology

NeckbeardLover445

yea i listen to it on the podcasts app on my phone in biology and on a seperate browser when im gaming

allyn stone

some shows are more visual, but the habitual itch is scratched mostly by thine voice producers. I think 80/20 is about right.

Elizabeth Ann Duffy

I'm usually between options 1 and 2. Depends if I have pressing shit to get done.

Gary Czernick

After work, after a joint, or two, and while I work on my homebrew games.

ShoreMcLoving

You guys tend to hang on single images or news articles. Those aren't particularly interesting to look at.

Paul Braud

The only way I have time for your shows is to listen to them while I'm doing something else. I mostly listen to audio only versions, and even Cinema for Cynics video I only look at if it sounds like something crazy happened. I wish i had time to sit and watch but that's not how my life is right now.

Gavin Calabria

I only have the time to listen to them at work but that said I try my best to atleast look at every picture presented

Daniel Melle

When I'm home I watch it on my tv, and when I'm at work I listen to audio versions

Jay Devons

I have two tvs and play your show on one and play a game on the other.

Zygote

Other: depends on the energy of the hosts and subject. Some nights the boys are just on their game and the content doesn't matter, other times the opposite.

Dallas

dont use this as justification to have less visual entertainment

Goat da Stoner

I listen to audio st work at watch it st home.

ChillBroBaggins

I watch mostly on second monitor or on phone making dinner/doing dishes. Episodes like WWE or Top 10 80s Horror I cant imagine not watching most of. Flash Fried is easier to listen to without watching in general

Jareth Gawain

Depends on the content. Flash Fried I will listen to while I do other shit and look if you guys pull a video up. Most (Something) = DFF shows I will watch intently.

GreenAndPurple

I usually listen, unless you guys indicate that you have something worth actually watching.

Jacob Johnston

Just wanted to say, no matter how or how not intently I watch, I truly appreciate how much content you guys put out. What keeps me hooked is how often you guys update. For example, Even if a particular episode doesn’t hit for me, there’s still flash fried , which I enjoy because I enjoy hearing your opinions on the news, and tons of other episodes that do intrigue me. The constant updates are what keeps me hooked. That’s why I’m a patron even though I mostly watch YouTube episodes. The 5$ is more than worth it for the amount of content I get. So, thanks to all three of you! 😎🤙🤙🤙

Bryan Turner

I download and listen while working.

Horror Muppet

I like watching most of the time because the reactions you guys have sometimes are pretty hilarious. If I was just listening to an audio version I don't think certain situations would be AS funny without visuals to add some context.

Pengmaeda

Watching intently first viewing of a show, more listening but occasional watching on viewings after that.

CJ

I pretty much rotate between all of these depending on my mood and how interested I am in the topic.

Furcifer

I will watch the show when I can but I’m mostly listening to it at work and will occasionally watch for a little bit if something visually important is happening.

Xinic5

I listen while drawing busty gothic clown chicks with bat wings...

Luna Delcielo

I listen while I'm cooking, doing mindless homework, and gaming. I'll look over when there's a major reaction to something that's put up on the screen, otherwise it's pretty entertaining without the need of constant flash-bang visuals.

Ben R

I usually half-watch, half listen if I am doing things during the day, otherwise I just listen while I try to fall asleep at night. Occasionally I’ll watch the whole show on my TV in the evenings if I have time.

peso.meso

I voted for the third option, I mostly listen, but if the episodes required more watching I'd be fine with that too. Btw, when you're showing some photos it would be better if you put them fullscreen instead of still showing your webacams, as I'm always watching the show on my phone, so if the photo is only part of the 5 inch screen it can be hard to see

noname

I smell and taste the podcasts

Oliver Zinn

When the hell is the D&D content coming out?

Sev Obzen

I am a mix of the top three. Which way I go about consuming the show is heavily dependant upon the topic and format of that individual episode. I usually wait for a time when I can pay more attention if the show is something with a lot of video content. With an episode that's mostly talking I'm just listening except for when you put up a new picture.

Sev Obzen

I'd prefer if you guys took down static images once you're finished talking about them and switch back to face cams until you have another image or video you're ready to show.

Jacob Kantor

i listened to like 6 episodes while climbing el capitan

Zeaxe

Dawg i listen to this shit for all of the above pretty much equally. I listen when I go to sleep and then when I'm awake for the double enjoyment factor. This shit is all around really good content. That's why it's the only entertainment I am financially invested in. I'm pretty sure it's making me retarded though.

Jordan Nied

I really wish you guys showed your faces more. I hate watching the show when it's 20 minutes straight of just a picture.

Zachary Hahn

I listen till someone says "Look at this shit!"

CzechTheShark

It depends really. When y'all watch movies on Patreon or have your "Versus" episodes I usually watch the entire thing intently. But when it is a DFF = (X) episode "I mostly listen, but look occasionally when it sounds like something interesting to see is happening."

Damon DePaolis

Other: Paul’s Ben Shapiro rants sustain the life in me.

David

Other - Option 1 and 2, but depends on the topic. I'll watch intently if it's really something I am interested in. And do other things when it's not. Sometimes I do option 3 if it's something I don't care for much at all.

志護

I mostly just listen to all of PPs content as background noise in my day-to-day proceedings, so I wouldn't be too distressed if the shows switched to a less visual format (though I might miss some of the more entertaining visual humour).

Arianna Green

I listen to the show only because I always play DFF while I'm driving. I commute about 35-55 minutes one way to work 5 days a week, so DFF provides great entertainment rather than listening to the same album over and over.

Lupin X

I'll watch each show once with raptured attention then it's demoted to background noise for masturbation

Nikolas Seamans

I lay in bed and watch until I fall asleep, or I play it in the background while playing games, but my favorite time to watch is when I get home from work and get stoned as fuck. I'll watch pretty intently then, intermittently pausing it to practice playing guitar when I feel like it.

Over stuffed

I mostly watch because you guys like to make fun of the thing on screen which is super funny to me

Jazz Curcio

As an artist I like to listen and draw at the same time. I have 2 monitors, one to draw and one to watch and if something shows up like a video or an article I'll take breaks out of drawing to look and watch your reactions.

MR_Toast

I'll tend to watch the videos you play but listen when there isn't any being played. But whenever you guys fight and argue it's always fun to see the rage in your faces. I wouldn't want audio only if that's what you'all are thinking, not saying you are.

wereedbooks

Other - when I can't watch the episodes, I'll usually play them in the car on long drives. Helps my drive go by a lot faster. When I can, I usually have the videos minimized while I work on other things, yet I'm constantly clicking back to see what's on the screen.

Chase Gwaltney

I wanted to say I mostly listen to DFF like a radio, but I didnt want you to take that as a negative! Just want more DFFs.

Jim Asks

Where is that new DNC debate video you scam situation individuals!

Skeptical Jesus

It depends, if I'm just chillin' I'll watch intently but if I have videos to edit I'll just listen and glance

Matt Schilling

If I'm on the computer I'll do other things and look occasionally, if I'm on the TV I'll hang on every word

Chimpso

Honestly, it depends. If I'm doing work (I work from home) I'll have the show up front and center and be working off on one of my side monitors. If I'm gaming I'll have the show up on the side monitor in my peripheral vision and glance over whenever there's a new slide, or to watch a video, or when you all start going into hysterics. When I used to work a normal job I'd download shows as videos and listen to them through my headphones, but I'd skulk off somewhere out of sight, pull up the video, and rewind to watch something I really wanted to see. The visual aspect of the show is incredibly important to me personally. I think it's great to have a lightweight audio-only option for people in positions where they can only listen (such as driving or while at work), because it can save them on mobile data. But going fully or mostly audio-only would severely decrease the enjoyment I get out of watching you guys.

Sam Bray

3 of those options are pretty much exactly the same

John

I mostly consume the show while consuming food.

DogeBag

While taking massive shits.

Rut Ro

Depends on the subject matter. I'll watch if the show is focused on something visual (ex. Celberties who got fat). Otherwise I'll go audio only and listen while I'm commuting (ex. The Hillary Clinton one and all the flash fried episodes)

Heather Squidz

I find that if you guys are watching a video I will watch the screen more but if you are talking about a subject in general I will listen in and do other shit until I hear "oh man look at that!" or something.

Erms

I’m usually practicing my guitar while having the program on with the screen illuminated. I’d prefer if Abandonded_Hope didn’t have any background noise. Thank you for considering our input.

Brenna Garrett

I listen to the show mainly while driving. It’s like my daily radio show

Christopher James Kennedy

It really depends... I do all of these depending on circumstances. I prefer to have video over just audio. I prefer to watch or dual screen watch and listen. Only just listen to audio when I’m driving or at work. Will normally pop the screen on at interesting bits though.

Dwenn

Fuck you tube sound cloud pod cast only.

Christian McDougall

If I'm hanging out at home with some beer, I'm watching the show with full attention. If I'm playing a game or doing homework, I'm mostly listening.

cyrus

I'm typically either working or watching porn while listening, occasionally I check the visual if it sounds like something interesting

Jackson Miles

I mostly listen at night, it helps me fall asleep.

timic83

i listen/watch the show and speed up when the orange man bad schtick is too much (it's irrelevant and irreverant to anyone outside of the US left and stupid.)

Gary L Norris

When im home.. I like to watch and pay attention, but i drive for a living, so honestly the majority of my consumption is done while im at work on the road. You guys are what keeps me sane and gets me through my day.. Endless love for these fat, bearded egos!

Clyde Frog

Mostly while I'm gaming and shit.

Colten Drennen

I usually listen at work but when I can I watch the show at home.

Wilbur Whateley

Mix, at home you’ve got my full attention, travelling to work partial visual attention. I’ll listen at work. The visual elements often add a lot of “value” via three personalities reacting/arguing/ranting/laughing your asses of/despairing or simply vomiting.

Fuzzy Images

I tend to be doing art or animating when listening to you guys, occasionally looking over when it sounds like something of note is happening.

Montana Schmidtbauer

I listen while gaming, smoking and eating. Mostly while gaming tho.

Josh Jerome
>>29325895

I mean I guess it's technically not, since you put the "other" option but whatever.

Matt Matt

Access to a 1.5 speed option would be amazing! I watch pretty much everything on YT like that.

R. BUDD DWYER

Unless I'm bored doing something else (driving, walking, etc...) I just watch the episodes like a movie or show.

Mecha

I draw or clean while listening along, I’ll look over if there seems to be anything of note happening. This show keeps me productive

Tyler Smith

I understand MOST people (as of now) don't watch intently, but I (and many others) do! I love watching TJ, Paul, Scottie (Scotty?)'s expressions when talking about issues. ESPECIALLY when talking about something either happen to be passionate about. In fact, sometimes I wish the cam would cut away from a still image on the screen onto their faces. I was DFF on break at work. I watch when I get home. And I watch going to bed (until I fall asleep, obviously, then I'm just listening). Please don't go audio only. Much <3, guys.

SammieSomething

I usually play games on my computer and have the show going on my TV to my right. It's easy enough for my to glance at the screen, and I usually do so when it sounds like something interesting is happening. Hence the third choice down.

Edvard Lundgren

I watch the show when its the first time, but every time after that its on in the background. That might be a weird kind of way to consume it, because it didn't really fit into any one alternative.

Sam

I listen while playing video games, or just doing chores around the house. I’ll watch the screen when you guys play a video. I will take the time to watch undistracted for episodes with a lot of videos like the octopus one. Or for special ones like Christmas episode, the dff awards, ect.

Anonymous

I usually only listen to the show as I'm going to work or playing video games. Same is true with Flash Fried the only thing I actually end up watching is the movie commentaries. I actually got YouTube premium specifically so I could listen to the show in the background.

Joshua Jordan Larson

I listen to them at work so I don't usually watch, I appreciate when you have the mp3 version ready because otherwise I always use a video downloader an convert it myself

Pablo Picasso

The visuals are good, even if I mostly listen I still extremely appreciate the face cams. If you would decide to update the visual presentation as a whole that's great, just don't downgrade please. Also I love the patreon shit, definitely worth it.

Anonymous

Depends on what I am doing but 70% of the time I watch and the other 30% I am driving so the audio link really helps save data.

Kushner

It keeps my mind occupied while I do work, dishes, laundry, etc. I do watch sometimes, too. I wonder what changes are coming since it seems majority of the answers were in line with mine.

Zombie Sorcerer (Jesse Simpson)

I consume it in a few ways. I’m pretty busy with work and family so I check out the show any way I can, usually while doing other things, on breaks or whatever. I use my MacBook, iPhone and TV watching intently or just occasionally looking and sometimes just listen while I’m driving.

Stefan Leov

Actually, the middle option has a typo - “if” should be “is” instead.

MDO

I listen on my phone while playing video games and sometimes pause when you play a video.

Mr Cravensworth

For the majority of new episodes i'll watch the full thing. Older episodes that I have already watched I'll have playing in the background, for the most part. I think some episodes/topics just benefit from or require having a visual component. I wouldn't like to lose either the visual media or the camera feed. The visual media helps to engage with the topic and the cameras make the show feel more personal. Being able to see your reactions and facial expressions also heightens the comedy in my opinion. Sorry for the block of text- Thanks for the shows

Joseph Hollenkamp

On most episodes I'll listen mostly and look over when something is being shown or there is something interesting happening. On movie reviews and stuff I'll watch the whole thing.

The Ghost With The Most

I listen to and from my way from work episodes I've missed or want to relisten to, I watch while at work at my desk or at home, usually.

stillcollating

I always watch you guys. And if I can't see you, then I'm not watching anymore.

Vincent Barnard

I sort of play this shit while I do the dishes and it's the only reason I do the dishes jeezus where's that option.

Billy Goate

For a live show, it would be nice if it were more visual. Often you hang on a single slide for the better part of 15-20 minutes. At least let us see people talking.

Erin E MacKenna

I usually throw you guys on in the car, the shower and while doing menial tasks.

Joel Miller

I either play games while listening to the show, occasionally glancing at the video if something interesting happens, or I'm doing other things while listening.

Howard Roarke

I put it on my TV while I practice guitar and drink, great shit bois

Valerina

I'll say that DFF I mostly listen, but Flash Fried (my favorite flavor of content) I will watch the whole thing.

Matthew Colgan

Other, I listen to at work and glance of sounds important or watch on the treadmill

Noble Ape

i sort of half watch and whole listen while i do other things, but enjoy the visual aspect of the show and think it adds way more to the whole than simply audio alone. especially the graphical aids during DFF or flash fried explanations of topics or whatever.

Amerikan Wolf

listen and watch when possible, watch in secrecy and have gotten in trouble multiple times for it at work... keep everything

David

I hope you guys don\'t switch over to audio only as a result of these polls.

David
>>29350845

Yeah. The contributing factor to my responses is that they often do not offer anything visually stimulating to keep my visual interest. It's just a slide of pictures the majority of the time. They really should act out skits or something in preparation of these episodes and play them as actual representations of whatever their topic is. Even if they're only 10 seconds long or something Hilarious.

David
>>29332008

Oh, they're looking to downgrade, I'm afraid. Easier work.

Cameron Gimmestad

I consume it whole by putting it in my mouth and chewing

Aenima72826

I mostly listen and then look at the screen if it sounds like there might be something interesting on the screen being referred to, thats if im playing video games or cleaning, but if im not doing anything else i just watch the video. Edit: if its an episode that im especially interested in I'll normally watch it.

Oliver Edward Morgan

I watch/listen alot when I'm doing some work on personal projects or gaming. Its nice to have it in a window while editing photos or writing. Also I often have DFF on my second monitor when I'm playing a non-story intensive game like Minecraft and Forza Horizon 4.

Sven

i do all of these things

Adolf of Londor

Keep the video content and stop hanging on the same image or page for way too long (cut back to studio), or get that slave guy in the back to do that shit). For the love of god stop singing (TJ). For the love of god stop shouting (Scotty). Also during flash fried when that slave dude isn't there the media audio is still far too low compared to studio feed.

cyle

I think you guys r great love everything I've put out! I dont mind the bible episodes so much but that's just my opinion! Love u guys and ur the only podcast I stand by!

Nicholas Untereiner

This show helps me get through the day. I spend most of my time at work so I listen to the show all day every day while I work and during my drive to work.

Hieronymus

I watch in bed when I go sleepies.

Azazel

I have 2 monitors some times i watch some times i dont so iam not sure what to click, But i always have it playing. Mostly while iam raiding or pushing keys (World of Warcraft )

Nick

There needs to be a better way to listen without having youtube open for 2 hours on my phone. The audio files sometimes don’t work

Danny Kotsybar

Please don't go audio only, that would totally suck. I usually listen only, but the video is way too important to get rid of.

Rat squatch

Please don't cave to those whiny audio fags

Lord of the Pimp Rings

I really hope this isn't a justification to do audio only or some shit that ends in less content.

Brandon Lee

I'm always watching on TV, please don't go audio only. There are way too few video podcasts.. if audio only, I wouldn't get around to DFF as much

Kid Wizard

I'm not going to continue my patronage if the show goes to audio only. Plain and simple.

Devin Wright

My consumption varies. It's a combination of all things listed, dependant upon what time of day it is

Davide Bertolini

For the most part I listen while I'm driving, but I like having the option to watch and sometimes I do. I have a ritual, about once a week I make herbal capsules with DFF in the background and I often glance at the screen

Davide Bertolini
>>29396802

There is Soundcloud but it's not as frequently updated and (I think) there's none of the Patron-only content

William Wheeles
>>29330856

This describes me as well. However I do look more on episodes like the deformities one or during moments where there's something really funny happening

LameBrane

For me, its usually a 50/50 split. I either watch it at home, or listen to it at work on my phone with earbuds

c0lt

I 100% devote myself to what is in front of me. I don't half ass have background shit to distract me

c0lt
>>29372826

When scotty screams, I just turn it off if I'm in a public-ish environment like a hotel or shared living quarters. I don't want to disturb everyone or have them think I am a crazy person.

AlterEgoIII

If I’m watching at home I’m looking most of the time unless I’m doing something around the house then I’ll listen and look every now and then. Sometime I’ll listen with my headphone on while I’m out and I’ll look if there’s a video being played or something

Rob Head

It depends on the episode really, I don't always fully devote my eyes to watching it but I feel like the video is a very important component.

Pixiekittie

Watch intently until Dr. Segmento appears

Dylan Dixon

I'd say that I look more than occasionally, but I like while driving or playing a mundane game.

Luggzy

I like to watch the show on mute and masturbate profusely

Ahmad Maarafi

I like to listen and only watch when there's something interesting being shown. But for what it's worth, my girlfriend, who is probably not your target audience, enjoys the content but feels the pace is way too slow. She is the kind of person who likes to watch what she is listening to and thinks sometimes an image stays on screen for way too long when you guys have been talking about a tangent for 10 minutes. Maybe consider having more things going on screen if your goal is to make the audience watch more rather than only listen. Currently it's a weird in-between an audio-only and some visual content.

Norman

I usually listen to the show while smoking or having a beer and browsing Wikipedia or 4chan. Basically just relax at night, watch the show, and look at random stuff on the internet.
