Goat da Stoner

Boooo! You already used that joke. In short people episode. BOOOOOOOO! TJ!

WC

Okay I have. to say, I've been loving these thumbnails with the guys. The TJ vs. Scotty and Scotty v. Paul thumbnails were amazing, and now this. Love it.

Ben Ladd

yooo the new intro song is fucking sickkk

robozo

this intro is spicy af

Clint

i would totally blast that intro in my car man. that was dope

Daniel Kelleher

Holy fuck one of the greatest DFF's ever! Top 5 for sure! Keep these types of fun contests coming guys, I love them!

Pee Pee Von Diarrheastein

Paul's ability to perfectly emulate every Southern strategy huckster who's ever lived is both hilarious and pretty concerning, lmao. I'm watching you big guy.

Noah

holy fuck that new intro is great

damien glenn

well, the intro was solid. stopped watching the episode about an hour twenty in though. Did you guys run out of ideas on what to do or what? These kinds of episodes feel half assed.

Ash Farther

I want this as a ringtone, and I think ringtones are fucking stupid

Scotty B

As it’s my birthday (43, ouch !) , Scotty could ease the pain by doing his “Racist Jew” character ? Or is it too hot even for Patreon ;) ? . Cheers for the content anyhow, lads 🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤘

John Smith

So I'm 23 minutes in, just through the first "argument"... doesn't this just boil down to whoever rolls to defend the position Scotty holds wins? As entertaining as Paul's character is, it would be nice to see some actual devil's advocate rather than just mockery.

Sir Drinkalot

Taylor TJ Scotty, do people really say ”fiyst” in Louisiana? I thought that was Brooklyn-accent, not Southern.

Marcus Jensen

yo i was fucking losing my mind at how well this intro song fit the video before i realized it was a new DFF intro

Anonymous

love the new intro song

WC

Did anyone else notice that Paul's southern accent occasionally deteriorated into a Brooklyn accent?

Ivan Peeters

Shows are getting worse and worse lately imho, lazy vs episodes or dumb pointless pessimist battles. every time. oh i forgot, sometimes there is movie stuff :-s

gotsniff

Intro song on this DFF episode is awesome

Scott Everett Twerdahl

I agree with the critical comments. I love DFF, but lately it is all stupid competitions, trivia, etc... I miss the deep dives into interesting topics- prohibition, Jeffrey Dahmer, Top 10 movie villains, psychadelics. Those are the types of episodes where I feel like I learn something. Even the recent wasps episode was kind of interesting and informative.

HalleyHeroine

During the final argument, I forgot that Paul had settled on arguing against freedom of speech. So when Scotty asked what his topic was and Paul said it would be apparent soon, I was sitting here waiting for him to begin arguing that his mom is indeed a whore. 🤣🤨

JP

Love the new intro!

Thomas H.

Paul's accent is so funny!

Aaron

Instant Classic episode.

Christopher Borra

Think you guys can do a show where ya need to do some research? Like space missions for the next decade or two from NASA ESA etc... It was a fun show, only halfway through it but it's funny but like damn I don't need to hear the retarded position on current issues. Sort of tired of hearing about all the ill in Merica. Focus on some failed space missions for all I care just so worn down with Covid19 and the social and economic injustices. Apollo 13 was...a successful failure. O.o

Kyle Delancy

Give us scotty's racist jew character, and bantersodes!

Dragoon

This was fun. But it'd be nice to see a little less competition/duel/vs format for a little bit.

c0lt

Save your money guys, just a word of advice. Put some back every chance you get. Never know when Long Daddy You Tube will throw down the ban hammer.

Bo Prince

I couldn’t make it through half of this episode with Paul doing the accent .

Moose Dookie

Really fun episode. Loved the southern gentleman that took over Paul's spot.

Psychedelic Fox

The fuck was this episode even about? This is the first DFF I legit thought was boring and I did give it a chance and watch all of it.

lll

Loved this episode lmfao

The True Nihilist

Seems to be a big split on fans on this episode. People either loved it or hated it. I loved it, keep it up.

Thomas H.

This may be the best episode of the year!

David

Paul is a goddamn national treasure. This episode was dope. Thanks to the DFF team for it.

Allie2892
>>38635029

I said the same thing about an episode a while back, and I got banned for it. Yet, you’re still here. Fucking bullshit.

Allie2892

This episode was great, fuck the haters.

Emil Schwaner

liked the premise, but the execution could use some work. pauls rediculous accent made him sound disingenuous on every position, and the scoring system made no sense

Phat Man

Agreed, it reminds me of video game underground.

Phat Man

Like many in this comment section I TOO spend my hard earned money on things I dislike so I'll have something to complain about.

I got scammed by three neckbeards
>>38656391

lol yea expressing distaste for a certain episode or last run automatically means you just want to complain. Shut the fuck up and stop shaming people for expressing their opinion.

Brandon Smith

Please guys... in future please don't let kFabe get in the way of ethos or the logos of your debate. Looking at you zEgo

David
>>38572428

Seems like divided audience. You either love this one or hate it. I loved it. Laughed my ass off all the way through.

Tom Avery

I do declare this to be a fantastic episode

El Barto

hahaha a chud puttering around the walmart hahahaha

Pleb22

Paul channeling his inner Atticus Finch in this episode.

Anonymous

Assuming the fine folks at DFF read the comments of their fandom being split down the middle, here's hoping they ignore the commenters who enjoyed this and other recent episodes (versus, trivia etc) as they probably enjoy watching the special Olympics too, while drooling into a cup.

Josh Jerome
>>38675373

You know, it IS possible to simply enjoy the guys' dynamic regardless of what topic they're covering without being a simpering dolt; and honestly, like, what do you want? For every single episode to be educational content? Because I will put good money down on that shit getting tired after like two months. If not only for the fact that those episodes take longer, which would slow down the release schedule, then for the fact that at some point, we all have a tolerance for useless trivial information where our brains just start dumping memories wholesale.

Thomas H.
>>38675373

Ahh very impressive contempt there Joey. You surely are a very wise person. Your pedestrian insults have truly resonated with me. I am now convinced! This show was in fact trash. Thank you for your input good sir. You make a very coherent case.

Kasper Bak Kirkegaard

Just wan't to point out TJ did his Vaush character all episode too.

Norman

Lol so you guys are so paranoid about COVID that you've actually stayed on lockdown for the last 3 months? COVID is a serious issue, but I think you guys have fallen for mainstream media fearmongering. Like most issues in politics and society, both side of this ddebate are retarded. The Trumptards are stupid for thinking this is just an election year "hoax" to hurt Trump/take down the middle class, but by the same token the left-wing thought police types are just as retarded for actually believing that this is the Black Death 2.0 and for completely trusting the mainstream media throughout the course of this epidemic. I can guarantee that just 5 years ago, anyone on this show would have been the first to point out that mainstream leftists (and I myself am a leftist) are being fucking fear mongering pussies. Statistically - objectively - COVID is a serious health issue that is more deadlier than the flu and certainly a bigger public health concern, but ultimately more people are still dying from heart attacks and strokes

David
>>38718476

You're not too bright. Covid is a serious issue ... for the elderly. Nobody thinks it's the goddamn black death and if given the chance, this WILL be deadlier than yearly heart attacks and strokes combined. And guess what, it's fuck tards like you who ignore social distancing advice and masks and go around spreading this filthy bullshit that will edge us closer to that reality. Don't forget by the way that while covid is doing its thing in this worst case scenario, all those other fucking deaths will also still be going on ... and worse, if the hospitals are filled there will be cascading issues which result in even more unnecessary death because other serious injuries and situations won't be able to be attended to in time.

Anonymous
>>38718476

"Hey guys covid is not so bad! Just ignore all the evidence to the contrary cuz people die more of (insert death statistic of something unrelated here)."

Josh Jerome
>>38718476

Put a hundred healthy people in isolation with COVID-infected air and nothing to eat but bacon grease and methamphetamines and I'll bet you a thousand dollars that less than a third of them die of heart attacks.

Josh Jerome
>>38718476

Full disclosure, less for the purpose of making a point than because I think it would be funny.

Phat Man
>>38718476

Ya'll stayed inside for COVID-19? How're you gonna build up resistance for COVID-20? O.o

Chloe413
>>38718476

dense motherfuckers like this is exactly why covid 19 is still a problem

some guy

Loved the episode

some guy
>>38854983

I do wish that you guys would just pause the recording if one of you steps away cause that dead air is brutal. But when you guys are all on screen it's good.

Ebee

I dig these versus episodes. I feel like mixing it up a bit here and there was the original idea of DFF anyway.

The Passenger

Scotty said he was leaning towards Paul when they were "debating" government restrictions on food and substances until TJ made that Grimace joke. Scotty thought that ridiculous made-up, bullshit story was somehow the least bit convincing. Paul kept throwing away perfect opportunities to make effective and persuasive arguments just to stay in that stupid preacher character, and Scotty kept ignoring that to be bias aganst TJ

Norman
>>38718476

You are all objectively false. You are statistically far more likely to survive COVID then die from it. Its true that its more dangerous to the elderly, but that also applies to most diseases. Its also OBJECTIVELY true that initial estimates for the COVID-19 IFR (infection fatality rate) were around 2-3% and in the aftermath of the first wave the data shows that its closer to 0.25-0.5%. In other word's the IFR is about 10 times lower than initially expected (sources: https://in.dental-tribune.com/news/new-estimate-by-the-cdc-brings-down-the-covid-19-death-rate-to-just-0-26-as-against-whos-3-4/, https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30437-0/fulltext). The Lancet is one of the most reputable medical publications in the world. The Dental Tribune is a professional journal. I could post other sources too. I can't pretend I'm a professional scientist, but I'm literally graduating with a math BS in the winter. You guys are clearly scientifically illiterate. We're basically discussing a topic in mathematical biology at the moment. Nobody in the field of mathematical biology with any degree of credibility would just flip and start shit talking over a disagreement of statistics. They would present data an provide an argument.

Norman
>>38718476

Gord, I have to be honest: you sound like an uneducated inbred hick. You post has the bitchy dullness of a low IQ partisan loser and you completely missed the point of my post. I never said that I'm not wearing a mask, that I'm not social distancing, and that I don't believe COVID is a serious issue. I agree with all of those claims and I'm taking all of those precautions. Nothing you're saying is news to me, and all the point's you've made are well known both to me, and anyone else who has studied COVID in any academic or professional capacity (unlike you). If you weren't being intellectually dishonest and intentionally misrepresenting my argument, that much would be obvious. All I'm saying is (1) that COVID is much less lethal then initially thought. Again this is objectively true and I have even cited evidence. (viz.: https://in.dental-tribune.com/news/new-estimate-by-the-cdc-brings-down-the-covid-19-death-rate-to-just-0-26-as-against-whos-3-4/ https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30437-0/fulltext) And (2) this issue should not be a political issue, and politicizing this conversation and engaging in fear mongering does not help the situation. Again, you may disagree, but you're opinion is irrelevant because it's pretty clear from the bitchy tone of your post, your aggressive emotional reaction, and you're lack of interest in hearing the reasoning or evidence for my position that you're an uneducated, low IQ loser without any background in STEM. As I said before, I at least have some qualifications and will be graduating with a degree in math in several months. I'm also actually doing some self-directed study with one of my professors of mathematical biology and the COVID-19 epidemic. Specifically I'm going to be studying evolutionary game theory and population dynamics as it relates to viral epidemics. My point for bring all of this up, is that it has actually brought me into contact with some of the people in my university who are working on COVID 19 as a public health issue. For instance, the professor who is supervising my independent study is also working on COVID-19. Last week the university actually sent out a newsletter to my professor and everyone else working on the COVID epidemic and it explicitly addressed the issue of the politics of COVID. Obviously my school is still encouraging masks and hand-washing and other measures, etc., but the newsletter also encouraged our faculty to be mindful of the politics surrounding COVID, because when you turn a public health issue into a politicized partisan debate you actually encourage a lot of people to forego wearing their mask in order to make a political statement. By the way, their is actually a name for that kind of phenomenon: it's called a "perverse incentive", and you would probably be familiar with the concept if you weren't an uneducated, scientifically illiterate loser. Just because you're so retarded I'll state it one final time: I agree that COVID is a serious public health issue. I agree that we should wear masks and practice social distancing. My university and every other university in the world also says that we should wear masks and practice social distancing. At the same time, it's also true that COVID is not as deadly as we initially thought. Finally, it's also true that politicizing an issue is not the way win over adherents to your side of the debate. All of these things can be true at the same time. Tl;dr I support masks and I support social distancing an I never said otherwise, all I did was jokingly make fun of DFF for literally not leaving their house for 3 months. Maybe you obese losers have stepped outside, but I have. You just have to be clean and safe and practice social distancing. Basically, you guys are all inbred uneducated hicks arguing on the internet about a topic you don't even understand.

The Passenger
>>38928529

You didn't. I caught on to the schtick a little after I wrote the comment. I reckon I just would rather have been seeing an honest rhetorical competition instead of a fuck-on-TJ episode as I was watching.

Canadian Attack Moose

Grimace’s fucking ballsack, god damn no wonder Paul was shaking his head. How he’s holding in the laughter is beyond me.

Canadian Attack Moose
>>38928529

You realize that’s literally how brothers work right. That’s basically fucking unavoidable, especially given the what, 5-6 year showing of behaviour between DFF and DP back in the day? This has been ongoing. The entertainment of watching TJ struggle in a bullshit uphill battle makes it even more uproarious.
