i hate Kanye as a person. I feel bad for him though. As a person with 3 bipolar people in my direct family i hope he gets help. i do love some songs though.

Wilbur Whateley

Oh Kanye! You little scamp you! (Pinch his cheek) the carousel of clowns throws roses at this especial likkle gouy

Treaded Water

Kanye killed his mom? Sounds like Presidential material to me.

damien glenn

Man Kanye has to be the least interesting crazy person in the world. Imo the world would have been better if his mom listened to his dad and aborted him.

Stinkus

Scooter and the Hawg.

Wyatt Clark

Recommendation to TJ: If you do checkout Kanye’s music, give multiple albums a chance as until like 2 years ago, his sound constantly changes. Dude went from sampling soul music into like a mix of electronic soul music in like a matter of 2 years.

being bipolar and having mania is an amazing feeling, but its hell for everyone else. its the depression that follows it that really fucking sucks, but then people get a relief from you if you end up sleeping all the time. Fun times.

Goontrooperx

I haven't watched it yet, I have Bipolar 2 and I have extremely mixed feelings about Kanye being the public face of one of most defining aspects of my life. On one hand I don't want people to look at Kanye and think that how he acts and deals with his disorder is indicative of what bipolar people are like when in fact he's has a pretty harsh case, but I also recognize that his spotlight beings awareness that is desperately needed for a disorder that can be literally and figuratively be life destroying. Hopefully these guys did there research on this one.

Doesn't happen often, but this was ass. Kanye West is a dipshit, that first album has a lot of contradictions and makes black people look like a bunch of miserable losers, Paul basically calling him an irl Bart Simpson, being the ass people wish they could get away with being, doesn't make him interesting. Made it 1 hour in, but yeah fuck this. He's just one of the better examples of overvalued people who really don't do shit of tangible benefit.

Anders Rosendal

WTF? Not available in Denmark :-( Can you fix it?

Licorice_amoeba

The Price of Greatness by Arnold M. Ludwig explores the correlation between genius and mental illness.

A carousel where all the animals were replaced with clowns would be the creepiest shit ever.

My dad's mania sent his 64-year-old ass on a trip to NYC thinking he was going to just play his shitty $150 keyboard on the street and it was going to get him discovered and lead to him playing a show with Elton John. When he predictably returned home having not made a single nickel, he was a depressed mess for weeks. So yeah, I can attest to this. Trying to be the caretaker of the emotional state of a bipolar person is hell on earth.

I don't think Kanye is representative of all bipolar people by a long stretch but he does serve as a cautionary tale of what can happen when someone with BPD is flush with cash and surrounded by yes-men, and in a quite real way, I think that same spotlight is a big part of the problem in his case.

Audio ? 🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤘

South Park Scotty fucks. I bet he took over Butters' Kissing Company

ScottS

Having bipolar sucks.

Lmao bruh he is one of the most influential and most creative artists of our time,

Jack Napier

Hey, can you guys post the audio version of the Kanye DFF? Video version I can’t download or play while iPod is off, making it harder to play consecutively at work.

Emil Schwaner

Seems like its blocked in Denmark for some reason. No other country seems to be affected

Kanye West

Finally y'all made one about me!

BocephusJenkins

You can’t have Kanye fight off the beasts one-on-one fist fight, that’s not Kanye’s arena. You need to think about who could possibly damage Kanye’s ego. I think you could make a case for the Beast (DP) having an ego large enough to match Kanye’s.

SteelGriffin

As someone with Bipolar II with rapid cycling... I dunno, this was kinda hard to watch. But for someone without religion(pretty hard Athiest), the religiosity morphs into intense self loathing and a need for perfection. And still, sometimes magical thinking creeps in and I feel like reality itself is fucking with me. I hate it. And even with medication it can hit me on occasion, especially under times of great stress.

I should note that it's been pretty hard lately because I'm a wage slave in a call center doing insurance. Repetitive bullshit work that I can't stand. Every day same shit. Endless fucking overtime, no time off, expectations beyond my capability. I hate it and it's been setting me off really bad.

Enjoyed this episode. Paul needs to shut up sometimes. Thank you.

H4LFW1T

No mp3 for this one I guess

Scotty B

Couldn’t finish this one . Not because of the quality of the episode, I just hate Kanye West so much . What a wanker 🤘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤘

Erick Sierra

Kanye is a fucking GOAT. His influence is undeniable. I don’t expect much from an audience that just likes edgy and shitty rock bands.

Danny Jones

I thought this episode was great, even though it wasn't.

Bishop

I dont understand how anyone can even like Kanye.

Jason

Easily one of their best episodes recently. Honestly, all of their artists/celebrity ones turn out great.

Goon with a tire iron

I wonder if like, prophets and shit were kinda like Kanye. Just like, people who have some kind of mental illness combined with religious delusions that somehow elevated them to fame.

lost and found

kanye is a good example of what happens when you give a dumb person unlimited attention

Carcinogenz

In your guys next series on mental illness can you guys cover Borderline Personality Disorder (the other BPD) it’s part of what I’m diagnosed with and plenty of famous people have the disorder. It’d be interesting to see your take. It can present very similar to bipolar but the moods can cycle much fast, but also have a few additional symptoms like dissociation, the chameleon effect and an inappropriate attachment toward a ‘favorite person’. I would like to see what your view on this disorder are. There’s also no medication to treat my disorder- only to treat the symptoms, but therapy can help.
