Squirrel Power Trailer Progress Update 1-19-24 (Patreon)

Before I say anything I would just like to point out how cute Ashley is with her hair all messed up <3

But in all seriousness, the trailer is still coming along. I have just over thirty seconds of trailer so far, whether it's thirty seconds of *finished* trailer depends on your definition of finished, but overall I'm happy with how things are progressing!

I'm surprised at how fast the animation is coming together, and I have Blender's animation interpolation tool to thank for most of it. It's like advanced puppet animation as far as the workflow is concerned but it still has the effect of traditional 2D animation, plus it's quite buttery smooth~ I can't wait for you all to see the final result!

Also, as a reminder, the trailer will most likely end up as a proof of concept for the ideas I have for the show, as well as a showcase of my skills, rather than a literal showcase of actual scenes from the final thing. I might end up having the episodes be shorter and more situational rather than 10-20 minute long epics, just so that I can end up finishing them. I don't want to put myself in debt throwing money at a team of animators and VAs just off of a trailer alone :P
