Practice ran long today. The gym's empty now, just me, this storage room, and the last of the sunlight cutting through that broken window like it's trying to tell me something.

I peeled my jacket open the second I sat down on these mats — the dust in the air, the smell of old wood and rubber, it's weirdly comfortable. My legs are still buzzing from the drills. Coach says I've gotten taller again this year. Guess all that running's paying off.

You know, I've noticed you. Every time I stretch, every time I kick off a shoe — your eyes go straight to my feet. Straight to these socks. It's kind of funny, honestly. I'm not complaining though. If this is what makes you stick around after everyone else has gone home... I don't mind putting on a little show.

So go ahead. Look as long as you want. I've got nowhere else to be, and the light in here isn't going anywhere for a while. Just... don't tell anyone what happens in this room, okay? This one's just between us.

今天的練習拖得有點久。體育館已經空了,只剩下我、這間儲藏室,還有從破窗灑進來的最後一點陽光,像是在跟我說著什麼。

一坐下我就把外套拉開了——空氣裡都是灰塵和舊木頭、橡膠墊的味道,說真的,意外地讓人放鬆。腿還在因為剛才的訓練發燙。教練說我今年好像又長高了,看來每天跑那麼多真的沒白費。

其實我早就注意到你了。每次我伸展、每次我脫下一隻鞋,你的視線都會直直落在我的腳上,落在這雙襪子上。說起來還挺好笑的,不過我沒在抱怨啦。如果這就是能讓你在大家都走了之後還留下來的原因......那我也不介意多表演一下。

所以,想看就儘管看吧。反正我也沒別的地方要去,這裡的光線一時半刻也不會消失。只是......今天在這裡發生的事,別跟任何人說喔。這是只屬於我們的祕密。
