Mako

Yay, you're so fast today, I'm just finished the episode!!

lia

I really enjoyed the episode, particularly because Night played such a significant role and Day finally forgave him. The character development was well done, although I must admit I wasn't a fan of how Day's mom handled things – but hope that she'll do the work to turn things around. This episode was rich and full, but not gonna lie, I also don't think the surgery will be successful. It is being revealed during episode 11 and we all know how that goes...

Boyfriend era looks good on them! Also give Mark Pakin a lead role immediately already!!! But… I might be alone, but I had a few issues with this episode. I didn’t like everything with the mum and how she essentially kept Day prisoner. Taking his phone and changing the WIFI?! What the fuck was that?. Then she was forgiven way too fast. Also I hoped the show would have gone back to Mhok story after quite rightly spending quite a bit of the series focused on Day. Mhok’s story with Rung just seems to have been totally forgotten. I would love to see Day being there for Mhok now, so we get to see them both being supportive partners, but I don’t think there’s time for that now with the transplant coming up - which I’m really uneasy about, whichever way it goes. It will be a shame if after the amazing end to Ep. 9 they drop the ball with the last few eps.

Another beautiful episode. The way Day says "Phi Mhok" makes him feel so tiny. Its just so cute. Their datee was everything. The acting in this as well made me tear up so many times already. I'm glad Day was the one who asked Night to stay during the dinner. I feel like the dad is the one who donated his eyes. Its the 2nd time they r mentioning how Day has his eyes, so perhaps he would've been the 100 percent match for it. Idk to where this show gonna go by this point honestly. Part of me assumes that he might be able to see only for awhile perhaps, or it simply won't work, idk cuz if it's really his dad, who helped, It'll be kinda brutal if it won't work at all at the end(or we r simply looking too much into it perhaps and them mentioning Day having his dads eyes is just a sweet detail). I'm not exactly against any of this but also it's interesting because by now Day came to terms with all of this and accepted himself, so I wonder how the last two episodes gonna go.

But the Dad would need to be dead to be a donor… which would be a pretty traumatic thing for the story to do to Day and Night!

Wilma

I also think the surgery won't work(hopefully for Day it might, but idk...). Episode 11 curse!😭

Tiyani

Mark really derseves a lead role honestly... MhorkDay boyfriend era is super cute. The mom... *sighs dramatically* I have no comment for her.

Kayla Freeman

1. I 100% agree with you about being emotionally vulnerable bc I cried the entire episode.😂😔 2. You didn’t cry when Night said “that’s my child” but I cried for the both of us 😭😭 3. I really don’t think the surgery will work either 🥲

Nadine

I truly believe too the surgery won't be successful and I think that's good for the story's message. For Day it would be wonderful of course but I think this show shouldn't end with him just getting his full eyesight back. Or any of it to be honest. Since next week is episode 11 I think Day will feel the disappointment of the sugerynot working.

Ryan B

They're definitely baiting us. Remember the dreaded episode 11 curse. I'm sure the preview is too good to be true so we should expect the angst to be more intense.

Keem🥰

I think this was one of my favorite episodes so far! I can see the mom’s concern but she had a closed view on how he should live his life because of his disability, she treated him like a toddler especially in the beginning of the episode. I loved that Night and Day’s relationship improved. Night and Porjai 😍

PaleoWild

Day is also an adult, ma'am! His blindness doesn't take away from that. So if he makes the decision to go somewhere, he can. If he had waited for you to finish your business trip, he would have missed the opportunity to "see" his friend get married, connect with his father, and experience HIS last twilight! Motherhood does not give you sole rights over your children's lives... I feel Day's mom pain, her sense of guilt and responsibility but that is her issue to deal with. Javi, I am so happy we both see this with Day's mom. It also doesn't justify her trying to keep him a prisoner in the house that is suppose to be a safe space. That picture of all three of them... but Night a million miles away at the same time, hurts! Night is the one that made me tear up in this series! Mark is just ACE! In the end I appreciate the redemption and the family bonding. And yes! That was the true definition of a perfect blind date!

Mo

They make me feel so single lol but I loved this ep! and I cried again. Guess I should expect that from every ep

Renno Kedit

Im scared..coz i think the father is the donor... There still one scene where day crying on the floor while his mom hugging him..at the minute 3.13 at the trailer.. he wearing gree collar shirt that time.. wondering what will happen during that scene..😭😭. So i think day might cry after he know the dad is the donor

What is your game P'Aof? A whole week of being tormented by the mind games of the Master of Cliffhangers and cliff panoramas. Last week had me in tears, even mere hours before this episode. I literally saw a reactor fall apart into facing their depression, which, if I'm to be honest, happened to me too. Family medical issues have been tough these past 6 months or so, and this show left me vulnerable. But also kinder, I feel, in trying to be more like Mhok in his gentleness. If you can't have a Mhok in your life, the next best alternative is to be more like him. However, the show also had me belting *the* song for hours and alarming my neighbours, so there was that unfortunate side-effect. This episode felt very much like "in the wake of last episode". P'Aof made it easier for Day to forgive Night and for us to not blame Day for Night's guilt so much by making mom the bad guy, though I felt that made her kind of sinister. Having her son live his life is losing him? She rather have him locked up? Taking away the internet and the phone so he has completely no autonomy over his social life and access to the world outside his room? I mean people are not perfect, and this might be realistic, but I can't help but find her a sinister presence in the story, which is a sad realisation for me. The family holiday dinner was sweet. Day and Mhok's date was decadent. Night getting forgiven was transcendant. I felt for Porchai when she was embarrassed by Night's slightly wicked teasing, but it was a gasp-worthy moment to claim Porchai's child as his. I get it's not his sole decision to make, but I saw it as more of a declaration of his determination. I outright laughed at your mock shock that Day's Mom actually cancelled work. I loved your reaction to Night's redemption and Mhok's and Day's softness with each other. Want to smell the Jasmines at my house, and can I have my t-shirt back, will now be their thing, always having an indirect way of asking for special intimate time with each other. I truly think, had we not had the cliffhanger, there would have been a whole lot more deflowering of those Jasmine bushes, if you know what I mean. With regard to the eyes... yeah... I think they might work, because episode 11's curse won't be so straightforward. This is P'Aof we're talking about. His curse won't just be, but the transplant didn't take... Plus, those photos need to be seen. I get your concern over the message of empowerment being weakened, but I think that can me mitigated with Day devoting himself to helping those with visual impairments. I dunno, I just want to live in the perfect moments between Night's relief and gratitude, and Mhok's affectionate soft kisses. Hopefully the last twilight truly can break all evil curses. Even P'Aof was crying as he was watching that scene.

Tálay Sĕedam

Just when I thought I had cried my eyes out last week, they did it again. I cried for the whole hour, cried out of anger, sadness and joy.

TJ M.

If Day does get his vision back, I don’t think it defeats the purpose of the show. They already made the point in the show. Let’s say Day does get his vision back, Mohk loved Day for him even with his vision loss. This truly is my top bl. Some scenes in this show is just on another level and the best I’ve seen. Can’t wait till next week to see more of the story unfold

Lane Wright

My first reaction to the twist at the end was the same as yours, that the surgery will not be successful or the donated corneas will be rejected by Day’s body. One reason is that if it was successful, there’s not really anywhere for the show to go for the next episode and a half, or however long it is. And to me, the idea that the corneas might be donated by Day’s father is wildly implausible, if for no other reason than that the father lives hundreds of miles away, and I would think for a transplant, they would need to be immediately available. In any case, as usual, I have total faith in Aof that this series, like Tale of 1000 Stars, Bad Buddy, and Moonlight Chicken, will absolutely stick the landing. Everyone is terrific in this episode, as they usually are, but Mark showed us why Aof casts him so frequently - he’s a remarkable actor. We can see on his face all of the emotions he’s going through, both when Day forgives him and during the scene at Christmas dinner. In a lot of ways, this really was his episode to shine.

Gemini

I’ve come to the conclusion that every time Mark cries I’m going to cry, and that’s just where we are at this point in time. I also was infuriated this entire episode. The mother is trash. There’s no changing my mind about it. I see why the father cheated lmao!! 🤣 JK!!!! She’s not only controlling, but she’s also classist & low key an ableist. She’d rather see her son locked up in his room depressed rather than him being with someone who’s “poor” that’s helped bring him out of that space & treating him like a normal human being who’s ultimately taken care of him better than she has. I hate the classist trope/idea of character’s having to fight for the parents approval based upon class/salary. Idk why classism is so heavily pushed in so many cultures. Mhok already proved he could obtain a job & do well at that job by being Day’s caretaker. When she stated Mhok put Day at risk I was so confused because it’s the furthest from the truth. Mhok has proven that he can not only take care of himself but also take care of Day. Mhok is not some bum willingly living on the street, or mooching off others. He’s shown he’s capable of being responsible & making money to provided for himself. When he quit he instantly went & found work. Not to mention the fact that Day is grown man & fully capable of making decisions on his own. Day isn’t a child, and like most blind people will eventually be capable of doing things without a caretaker. When she took his phone & changed the WiFi password I almost lost it, because wtf kind of BS is that??? The mother is narcissistic asf & only thinks of herself or how she feels in situations. It’s always been about what she thinks is best. Never once taking into consideration how her children may feel. Then when she blamed Night I almost lost it again. I had no issue with Day blaming Night, because he’s the one who’s blind & it’s easy to see why he’d blame Night even though ultimately it wasn’t Night’s fault. It’s just the most realistic viewpoint for someone who’s going through something like that. But for the mother to fix her face, and say that BS to Night I just was livid. Especially when she’s seen the guilt that Night has. She’s one of the worst mothers I’ve seen in a BL in a minute. You can want the best for your children without trying to dictate their life.

Jasmine

“That’s my child” Night sir 😅 Mark was amazing this episode. Him sad eating the beef stew 😭

jax ♡

I feel like there is no way the eye donation will work bc its literally episode 11, I think they already told us when they said the chsnce for success is less than 1%,, idk maybe I’m wrong but I’m totally with you on this

Hayli L

It was the "I'm so fucking single" for me hahaha! Same boy, same Ahhhh. I live vicariously through these BLs 🤣🤣🤣

Chris B.

Where is Mark's lead role? Where?

Samantha Marquis

I think they probably put something in the paint to make it smell differently for the blind painting session.

Cynthia Jehl

I agree with you, the preview must be misleading... Either it's the hoped for scenario in someone's mind; my guess would be the mom since she's still struggling to accept Day's blindness and still babies him so much, or it could be Mhork because he probably wants Day to be able to see again but not because he's not accepting Day's blindness but more in a sense, he wants everything to go well for his boyfriend, he'd probably give his the entire world if he could. But yeah, I agree that it would lessen the impact of episode 9 and all of Day's struggles to get there. I think, either the operation won't work or Day might get his sight back for a short time before it starts deteriorating again and maybe this time the mom will make sure to be there until he can't see anymore. I love them so much, they're everything and all the cute scenes gave me so much butterflies!!!! Your reaction to Night saying 'That's my child' was utter perfection XD Damn, ask her to be your wife first! Night moving faster than P'Aon XD Low blow ending the reaction with the song... 😭😭😭😭

Kristian De Luna

We still haven't gotten that scene in the official trailer where Day is breaking down crying and hugging someone in black... I presumed it's his mom... So I'm afraid that Day's father was the one who donated the eyes? We haven't also gotten the scene, also from the trailer where Mhok is crying and I think that's the hardest cry I have seen from him so far so I'm preparing myself for the heartbreak and surprise on these last two episodes.

AR

Lol just imagine when Day and Night's mum realises that her eldest son is dating a pregnant girl who was the ex of her youngest son's boyfriend who is an ex-con himself. My my my poor Khun Mhon hahaha!

The chance of getting an eye donation is less than 1% is what I think it meant. I think if it works, the donation will be from someone we know who died and we will be heartbroken 💔 either way.

Kari M.

Why is Sea’s laugh the cutest thing that ever existed in my entire life?
