Hi. I just found out that someone downloaded the pages of the Maggie remake that have already been released and re-uploaded them somewhere else online for free. I knew this would happen, because it happens all the time. And he/she commented: “She’s back.”So I’m assuming this person is a fan of Maggie or myself. After all, he/she had access to the pages in the first place, which means they presumably paid for them.

And honestly: How the fuck can you call yourself a fan of someone or something while completely shitting on that person’s wishes and actively hurting them financially?

I have written, in HUGE, BOLD LETTERS under EVERY SINGLE PAGE, that these pages are a thank-you to the PAYING(!) fans who support me and make it possible for me to make a living from this kind of art.

I have also explained very clearly that every single time someone takes content that so many of you actually PAY for and simply reposts it somewhere for everyone to access for free, it causes me serious financial damage.

How is this so difficult to understand?

Or does simply nobody read the fucking descriptions? Is that the problem?

I genuinely appreciate every single person who loves my drawings and wants to share them because they enjoy them. I really do.

But that does NOT apply to work that is still behind a paywall.

In this case, sharing is NOT caring. It is actively hurting me and undermining the way I make a living. I have absolutely no problem if you download the pictures for your private collection. That's totally fine.

But to everyone who takes my non-public artwork and spreads it around anyway or feeds it into AI to generate “realistic” versions of it (yes, that has already happened too):

Fucking shame on you!

You are making life as an independent artist incredibly difficult for me, while at the same time claiming to be such a huge fan of my work.

Do you genuinely not understand the contradiction here?

My income, just like that of OF models and other creators, is funded through subscriptions. People are paying to support me and to get access to things that are NOT or not yet publicly available.

So please, for fuck’s sake, respect that!

Do not take the things people are paying for and redistribute them for free. And do not feed them into god-damn AIs. That's a kick in the butt for every artist.

You are not “supporting” an artist by doing that. You are actively taking away part of their income.

I LOVE making this kind of art. I genuinely want to keep doing it.

But if I eventually have to go back to a 9-to-5 job just to pay my rent, I will probably have to bury “theKoudelka” for good. Because if I have to spend my time working a regular job, I simply won’t have the time to make this kind of art anymore.

And I really, really hope that’s something none of us wants.

So if you actually consider yourself a fan:

Please act like it. Respect the paywall, subscribe or, if you can't or don't want to (which is totally cool), be patient enough until those works come for free, because they will, sooner or later.Thank you.And a really big Thank you to all of you that are respectful and true fans of my work. It's you who I am drawing these things for. 🫶

I totally understand your frustraition, these people are complete and utter scumbags, i wish some people would have any kind of common sense not to do this kind of crap.

Five Phoenixes

Oh wow and yah totally understandable my friend to rant, you work so hard on these amazing comics and someone to copy them and share them for free is straight up theft, let your emotions out and use it to craft better works in the future that everyone can respect and if they can’t, that’s on them and their reputation ✊✊👍

Travis James Schwolow

I'm sorry these assholes keeps stealing your work. They are definitely no real fans and stay strong and don't give up my good friend 💪😎

I don't think internet pirates have ever bothered to care to make a distinction between pirating corporate stuff and pirating from independent artists (especially when it comes to porn)

The J Lab

Totally fair and valid to rant about it! I will gladly pay to see your work since and one would hope the vast majority of people here feel the same way.

theKoudelka

I know. What I don't get is how someone can be fan enough to pay for my content and then repost it.
