Maggie's fattening Story (Remake) #5 (Patreon)

Here's the fifth page of my Maggie remake.To be honest, page 5 of the original comic is one I’m not really happy with anymore, because not much actually happens on it. That’s why I gave it a complete overhaul for the remake.

I cut the first three panels entirely, the ones showing Maggie walking through the city and stuffing her face with donuts.

Instead, I felt it was more important this time to properly show off Cid’s huge mansion. I have to admit, I based it on a photo I found online.

Then I figured that Cid would almost certainly have a security system installed at her front door nowadays, so I came up with the two peephole panels, which I honestly really like.

And of course, to wrap things up, we get a lovely full-body shot of Cid by the pool, sporting her new sunglasses.As for Cid herself, I always found it amusing how people kept pointing out over the years that Cid was asian. Funny enough, I never actually intended her to be asian when I first designed her. I simply imagined her as a white woman with black hair. But looking back, I actually really like the idea, so Cid definitely has asian roots in the remake. And I think it suits her really well.And of course I hope you like this new page and the remake so far. More coming soon. I promise! ^^
