Honestly, I feel like the Beginning after the End FEELS like it has a lot of potential that's being bogged down in poor production quality. It makes me understand why its fans were hyped and are let down. I'm still kinda enjoying it though. But if it had been given the right studio and right backing I could see it being a hit instead of a good bit of standard isekai trash.

Geoff, you neglected to mention the best part of Intergalactic Evil Overlord: Liam wants to be the titular evil overlord, and actively makes steps to do so, but his 21st-century sensibilities clash with the fact that the rest of the nobility of the empire is much more ridiculous. Every time Liam does something he thinks is ostentatious or worthy of an evil magistrate, his people start singing his praises because a 50% tax rate is way better than the 95% the other nobles charge, and he even injects the money into revitalizing the economy (so the citizenry even have money for him to tax).
