Sailor Arashi

Point of order: They never give a gender for the hero currently possessing Nia Liston. The anime seems to have decided she was female, however, given the voice and silhouette shown at the beginning.

Thank you for putting me into even further ‘unwatched anime debt’!

srslyneveragain

Well, seems like this is my final chance to cancel my Crunchyroll subscription before they completely wreck their subtitles for good. Might as well take it.

Okay, so this season isn't about the brand new shows but mostly Shonen Jump Wacky Race: The Animation (Oh btw, people have been saying that it has an ED, but it's an error because it instantly takes you to the next episode or takes you back to Stone Ocean once again) , Sequel series, Black Clover Season 2 aka Wizard Naruto Season 2 and shows that either had it's show doing a split cour or just being a season 2 during this year when season 1 aired in the same year. Otherwise this season isn't about the anime shows but a warning about the evil Crunchyroll subs being phased out for some generic lame subbing software that is removing fan subs community out in order to be "TERRIBLE" so please tell Crunchyroll to stop ruining anime otherwise we will riot against their evil methods of being terrible. Plus stop doing bad DVD, Blu-ray sets bad as well. Anyway Geoff, did you know that your animé rival "Super Eyepatch Wolf" aka "Hobocrawfish" is saying that he is the best gamer and video essayist of all time.

kachtra

lowkey need the list of the anime shown at 0:35 really happy False Memory is in there tho

Kyle Collins

A reprieve is greatly appreciated. Thank you anime gods!

Peak Junji Ito reference

Several of the anime I am watching this season were not on your list, which makes me happy, since they will likely certainly be in your trash video, which I need as validation that I am doing anime correctly! Also, Even the Student Council Has Its Holes!, AOTY, yeah?

JCfromNC

Someone help me out here, please -- I recognize all of the streaming service icons except for the one for "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes", a white "V" or possibly checkmark inside of a blue circle. What's that one for?

Ben MS

That one is OceanVeil. I wasn't sure if they're a dodgy streaming site or not but apparently they're legit

JCfromNC

Thanks, I appreciate this.

If you do visit any of the Botan Kamiina spots, I look forward to any videos you do on it! I'll be visiting Japan in February and already have Ponshukan (the sake vending wall) on my list of places to visit. Gotta figure out where else to stop!

MegaNovaShizzle

I'm so happy Dark Summoner got at least a mention here! I randomly discovered the manga years ago while browsing for something to read, and I absolutely love it, it's hilarious xD I do wish the anime got full episodes instead of half length, but I guess beggars can't be choosers, hell, I never even imagined this would eve get an anime in the first place lol.

Zozo

I love how everyone collectively decided that the SBR ed was anything but what it officially was. Some really great edits came out of that.

I'd never heard of "Skys of Arcadia" before but not I really want to play it. I also like how finally someone remembered that armies don't just poof out of existence when the leader dies, that's been the backbone of basically every isekai for almost 30 years.

Nobody

You're telling me I almost missed a potential spiritual successor to Ruri Rocks because they leaned into the villaness genre? Son of a Bitch I'm in.

Aleksander Heintz

Would it be possible to add the show names at the end of a show (as well as the start, can just be in text in a corner or somesuch). I always find myself watching info about a show, deciding I want to see it, then have to go back to the begining to figure out what it was called.

WhatUsernameIsn'tTaken?

Thank you for warning me about Crunchyroll, Geoff. You're doing Haruhi's work.
