HELLO?!? I was not expecting this super excited to see ur reactions 👀❤️❤️

Sandra l.

Oh wow that was unexpected haha I remember requesting you the OST for this last year (I think?). This is drama can get cringe sometimes BUT it's the first one that came out in thailand so it's a must watch! Also The main actresses have great chemistry :)

OMG getting into Gap! I’m sooooo here for this I’m sat!

Clarens Jean Louis

Damn what a surprise you should continue to watch it

Isa

Ooooh! Yay!! I've been meaning to get into GLs but didn't know where to start and I'm bad at watching things by myself, so thank you for this!!

Natalia

oh my god yes! thank you, and what a nice surprise indeed I've been slowly spiralling down the thai gl rabbit hole since gap came out, and an onslaught of stuff that's currently being released isn't helping my condition, so it literally couldn't be timed better

Giulietta

YES OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

In terms of other gl dramas I would highly recommend the secret of us it's had a ton of hype and the female leads are stunning (plus they have another drama coming out soon i believe), 23.5 is also a good option and the loyal pin (has the same leads as gap) they're all great

Nia Patton

GIRL GAP OHH YEAH THIS GONNA BE GOOD

All of those are great choices, I would also add Reverse 4 you to add a bit bit of Time traveling shenanigans haha

Sandra l.

In terms of Blank, it is in the same world as GAP, Mon and Sam are in the show as well but not played by the same actresses. Personally i didn't enjoy Blank but I know that a lot of people liked it so... The best GLs I've seen so far was the secret of us and 23.5 (it's more cute and fun)

the official english subs for the first season of blank being so rough and choppy really didn't do it any favours whatsoever, I had to watch season 1 fansubbed, and thankfully season 2 had much better official subs. I'm definitely in the camp of people who loved it overall for the plot development and great lead performances, but it's one of the more divisive shows for sure

Jess

GAP is the classic gl for a reason. Such an amazing show, and all of the other ones people are mentioning down here are super good too. I hope you enjoy it!!

Truly, you doing reactions to this would be the thing to finally get me into it 😭

Gap is great, FreenBecky have excellent chemistry, the best way to watch gap is to not take it too seriously, It has a lot of silly humor and cheesiness that is inspired and to some degree a parody of 2000s kdrama. It does also have serious drama and romance. I also should warn that it has some toxic behaviour that again used to be in these types of kdrama back in the 2000s, as long as you don't take it too seriously then It's a great time. I would also recommend "The loyal pin" (Princess gl, set in the 50s, probably the best made gl I have seen so far imo.) "Reverse 4 you". (Cute gl with Time travel). "The secret of us".(Has a strong kdrama vibe, probably why it got some popularity in sk)

hope u could also react to the loyal pin too since its also starring freen and becky and their chemistry on that series is off the charts

Laura

As someone who has been watching the Thai BL’s for a few years I haven’t been able to get into the GL’s very much but everyone raved about this one so I finally watched it several months ago and it definitely lives up to the hype. I was already familiar with the leads from secret crush on you’ and they really do have great chemistry. Funny you should ask what people do with houses like these bc I can tell you exactly what they do. They film gay dramas in them lol. These same houses have been in so many BL/GL’s it’s comical. Also, wanna say these type of shows rely heavy on tropes/cliches so you have to learn to embrace them otherwise you’ll find them cringy. Last thing…the love scenes aren’t your average K-drama love scenes

Ha! this was definitely a pleasant surprise. Gap is still one of my favourite gl's and I really hope you continue reacting to it. In terms of other series, i definitely have to suggest Blank, like you said it's directly connected to gap (although made by a different company) and the story and acting are amazing. 23.5 and the secret of us are also really good and a lot of new shows are going to be released in the next months like Pluto and Apple.

Liz

Please react to more of this show! I am also invested!!!!

Em

Damn this was not on my bingo card, but I'm so here for it! I absolutly love gap so I can't wait to do a little rewatch of it with you. If you end up going down the GL rabbit hole, as so many of us have, I would definitely suggest "The Secret Of us", its amazing (and lingling kwong could end me...)

Annelie ✨

I was not expecting this but I love it. Wouldn't be mad if you did more of this.

Bria A.

OKAY. Now that I actually have time to sit down and start watching these, I gotta be gay on main for a quick second: Freen (Sam) is so fine. Sooooo fine. I’m distressed. Ahem. Carry on.

YC

This was such a great show!! Glad ur finally watching it. I was late to the show when it came out so I got to binge it all cuz I was hooked. If you thought the work friends are great can't wait for ur reaction to Sam's friends in the next episode and the rest of the show, they are hilarious. Jim might just be the best character in the show lol - My recommendation after this show would be The Secret Of Us!!! (The couple in that.. OMG.. that's all I'm gonna say) I haven't seen many of the Thai GL series yet (there have been so many, great year for us) so I am curious to see what others recommend. I know Affair is almost done so as soon as that show airs their last episode I'm gonna sit down and binge that one. And I've also seen Blank the series in comments before so if u start that one I might just wait and watch it with you as I haven't seen it myself either. I did see a few episodes of Becky and Freens new show The Royal Pin but waiting for all the episodes to be out before I continue watching that one.

FroggyMuds

u should watch 23.5 the series next! its a rlly sweet gl series, I love it so much
