I watched this, it borderline kinda terrible/ridiculous but somehow I watched and enjoyed it anyway , probably because Ling Ling Kwong is so beautiful tbh.

FINALLY TSOU!!! Thank you for the reaction Kaia :> Fun facts about The Secret of Us: In most scenes where Earn is asleep, Orm was actually sleeping. She even takes naps on set if there’s a bed. Earn’s mom in the series is Orm’s real-life mom, who’s also an actress. Lingling sings the OST for the series. She’s half Thai and half Chinese (from Hong Kong) and speaks Thai, Cantonese, and Mandarin. In the novel, Earn and Fahlada have an 8-year age gap, which is similar to Lingling and Orm’s 7-year age gap in real life. The director of TSOU, Sarasawadee Wongsompetch, also directed Yes or No (2010), the first mainstream Thai GL movie. Aom and Tina from Yes or No make a cameo in the first episode—that’s why the camera focuses on the couple at the cafe! Earn likely broke up with Fahlada because of her mother’s deception—she was told that Lada had "cheated" or "lied." Although Earn was deeply hurt by this, she didn’t want to destroy Lada’s close bond with her mother by revealing the truth—that her mother was the real reason behind their breakup. LingOrm are called The Premium Visual GL Couple. In real life, they’re very similar to their characters. That’s probably why I’ve grown so fond of them, and now I’m a fan! Orm is an extrovert, while Lingling is more of an introvert, creating a perfectly balanced dynamic. They clearly have a deep love for each other—whether it’s romantic, platonic, or just an incredibly close friendship. P.S. I can’t wait for Only You this year. They’ve already started filming and sometimes share updates on twitter ;)

TSOU reimagined F: What happened? E: You've been dating Wisanu this whole time F: What? That's not true E: But your mom said so.... F: Huh?!? The End 😂

I really wanted to watch this one and it's gonna be so much fun watching it together!! The first episode was definitely sad but I'm excited about how the story is gonna develop

This was my second favorite GL of 2024 after The Loyal Pin. I still can't completely watch episode 1 after seeing it the first time, because of the end of the episode--just got me in the gut pretty hard. I'm having fun watching GLs with you and getting your thoughts. I'm waiting for the next episodes of all the GLs you watch. I want to add that Lada's mom is the worst type of trash human to me, and I have no respect for her at all. Lastly, Lada and Earn were together for four years and broken up for two in the TV series.

this episode featured one of the funniest tropes to me, which is "it's been so long since someone spoke my language," says person abroad [in a setting where everyone in proximity clearly speaks the language] ...i wonder if it was one of those things where we're supposed to assume everyone in-universe was fluent in english despite them actually being thai, lol
