Probably my favorite GL series (though I still struggle sometimes between Us and Queendom lol). Delicate but powerful is honestly the perfect way to describe this show. The plot isn’t crazy, it’s kinda a slice-of-life romance with some drama, but the relationship just feels so authentic. It was directed by the same person who did 23.5 (a gay woman) and written by the same team (they also did Love Design which is amazing), and both the director and one of the writers are coming back for Emi and Bonnie’s next series too, which I’m already so excited for. Emi and Bonnie said that while they loosely followed the script, they improvised in basically all their scenes together in Us, which makes everything feel so natural and real. Honestly every scene with them just hits differently, I love this show so so much ❤️
