I find it so sad for Claire as well because in there parents disapointment of her for dropping out and not being the favorite they immediately believed she could even do that crime. She felt like her life didnt matter anymore in a way because she's an embarassment to her family. Their parents low key failed them too. They didnt fight to keep their family together. Claire said she liked being in jail as well and she had no life outside. That is incrediibly sad.
