I think this and 23.5 are my most rewatched gls (maybe whale store too) they’re such comfort shows for me and I don’t know why but Us gets even better on a second/third watch

I love how comfortable Emibonnie are with each other and how the director let them improvise like that. They said most of the intimate scenes were improvised, Emi even said Bonnie went off script a lot. That kind of natural chemistry is actually insane. Lowkey scared for Moonshadow though… same director but a totally different vibe, and they’re way closer irl now compared to when they were filming Us. Oh, and they just did their script read through for Moonshadow so they should start filming soon!

The casting on this series is insane. Emi Bonnie chemistry is so ubique it flows into everyone around them. Even know other artists say they blush and love their chemistry on and off screen. The siblings casting was also wonderfull, Sing and Bonnie play so well of each other. The whole casting for this series was amazing, Doraks parents klled their roles, grandma Bua and Titang where amazing, the Coffee creo are so much fun and Oat and Nene are so good in their roles. Everything about this series works. Also the Director is known for letrina scenes play and holding on on saying 'cut' if she sees something she likes and she also lets her cast improvise. Which Emi and Bonnie did a lot, of improvising.

I'm rewatching this show through your watches, and props to the actor for Khem. I also started watching 4 Elements: Earth, and he has a small guest role, and there his eyes are so filled with love and kind, gentle warmth that it's almost hard to believe that it's the same man.

This show is also where I completely fell in love with Mim and she became my fave GMMTV actress. She is SO GOOD, and she's also great in Girl Rules as a totally different role.
