Please react to the japanese BL Drama „My Personal Weatherman“

My favorite BL, still today! It was amazing rewatching it with you. Btw, JiHyun is 20, they mention it in episode 6, and JaeWoon should be 25/26. There are a lot of good bls out there, but I still haven't been able to find another BL that touched me like this one.

I love the 8th sense sm

Long Time No See is a good Korean queer movie (usually found split into 2-3 parts). It would also be interesting to watch you explore more Thai BL dramas. They are really different from Korean ones IMO (still in a good way). I have a weakness for the Thai ones since the actors are more like idols and interact closely with fans. Love Mechanics is my all-time fav.

Not sure if you brought up the movies topic bc of my comment on your previous video but in case it’s a coincidence, I recommend Goodbye Mother (Taiwanese) and White Night (2012 - Korean)

I hope u watch I told sunset about you. It's pretty short, only 5 episodes and it has some amazing cinematography and writing. I love the show bc everything is so intentional, nothing happens for no reason. It's a rlly amazing show

I rewatched „The Eighth Sense“ so many times and it‘s still my number one. My favorite Thai BL is „I feel you linger in the air“ and my favorites from Taiwan are „Kiseki: Dear to me“ and „Unknown“. From Japan is „Our Dining Table“ Special to me. There are many more, but I always go back and watch these again.

Have you ever watched Thai bl dramas? Those can be a bit wild. I would recommend Last Twilight!

This is a great BL. Glad you liked it! I have rewatched it a few times now. Here are 3 BLs I bet you would really like - “Not Me” and “KinnPorsche”, and “Last Twilight”. GREAT plots and acting! Please check them out!!

Yeah one thing I don't love in Asian drama's specifically is their need to force a friendship or understanding between all characters at the end. I haven't seen it as much lately but it still happens a lot lol I watched this one K-drama about high schoolers and one of the girls was literally bullying and terrorizing everyone in the school and targeting one girl specifically and even pushed her down an entire staircase yet she just attempted to self exit at the end of the drama and all of a sudden everyone forgave her and became besties like-

I really wanted to give this show 10/10 but the fact that they tried to redeem the asshole friend pissed me off so much that i have to deduct one point lmao. Im not that angry about the ex (hate her btw) because Jaewoon did cut her out of his life in the end, but the supposed best friend??? He's not "honest" he's fake af. People like him are going to stab you in the back again and again until you cut them off completely.

Just wanted to leave this here for anyone who might be curious. Ji Hyun is a 20-year-old freshman, while Seo Jae Won is in his mid-twenties, likely around 24–25 years old. Korean high school students typically graduate at 18 or 19 years old (international age). Using the traditional Korean age system, they are usually 19 or 20 when they graduate in February, just before starting university in March. They complete three years of high school (10th–12th grade).
