• Not me (Thai Bl with political themes, rebellion, brotherhood, justice, love, has 14 episodes) • Only Friends (Thai Bl about 6 entangled Friends, it’s really messy, dramatic and kind of a rollercoaster, has 12 episodes) • 4 Minutes (Thai Bl, with a student who can foresee 4 minutes into the future, also involves murder, thriller and is dramatic/toxic, has 8 episodes) • Spare me your mercy (Thai Bl, psychological thriller, murder, mystery, has 8 episodes) • Manner of Death ( Thai Bl, Murder mystery with romance and suspense, has 14 episodes) • Kinnporsche (Thai Bl, about mafia, betrayal, action, love and is also really dramatic/toxic, has 14 episodes) • History 3: Trapped (Taiwanese Bl about a cop who gets involved with a gang leader, has 20 episodes) • Happy of the End (Japanese Bl, kind of a hard watch as it’s brutal and toxic at times but I really loved the storytelling, has 8 episodes) • Revenged Love ( New Chinese Bl, Also toxic but comedic with a lot of character development but it’s really long and has A LOT of episodes) Overall I think you would enjoy Not me/ Only Friends and maybe 4 minutes/ Spare me your mercy the most but it’s only my opinion 🫶🏻

If you want something real and beautiful you should watch ‘I told sunset about you’. If want to watch something funny but very toxic, it’s time to watch ‘KinnPorsche’.

American BL "Red, White & Royal Blue." It's got some big names in it like Uma Thurman. It's a cute story. It's an enemies-to-lovers trope, but I also like the ending a lot. I think it's an Amazon movie, so the production is top-tier.

J-BLS because it's my favorite: When It Rains, It Pours (accidental pen pals find out they work together, drama where you root for cheating LOL); Happy of the End (my roman empire; major tw though!!); Old Fashion Cupcake (29/39 y/o's, short, LOVE!!); My Beautiful Man (Season 1, 2, & movie need to be seen as the complete masterpiece that it is); Cosmetic Playlover (chill/fun with amazing chemistry); Love is a Poison (silly but heartwarming) // China: Revenged Love (not for everyone but I love the humor/chemistry!) // SK: The Time of Fever (very short drama w/ amazing cinematography; Unintentional Love Story prequel) // Thai: This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans (weird title but I loved this show; undercover then falls for them, oops!); My Stand In (drama, toxic)

Not Me - social/political commentary, some mystery/thriller elements Manner of Death - murder mystery Last Twilight - drama, fantastic disability rep A Tale of 1000 Stars - drama, wholesome slow-burn romance (this one does star EarthMix, who were the main couple in Moonlight Chicken. so if you specifically didn't enjoy their vibes you might not like this, but if you want to give them another chance, this is a good one) I Feel You Linger In The Air (uncut version) - drama, historical, fantasy elements, some horror vibes (but it's not horror), not fast-paced but incredible story. tbh this is my all-time favorite Thai BL. The Untamed - this one is basically a rite of passage in the world of BL, it's iconic. drama, fantasy, supernatural, phenomenal chemistry. it's censored chinese BL, so limited physical contact, but tbh it's so well done that barely registers while watching

I’m back and now thinking about it you should definitely watch a Japanese movie called Monster 2023. It’s about a mother who notices her son acting strangely and begins to feel that there is something wrong. Discovering that a teacher is responsible, she storms into the school demanding to know what's going on. But as the story unfolds through the eyes of mother, teacher and child, the truth gradually emerges. It’s labeled as thriller/mystery though I do think a lot of it is psychological cuz it’s a queer story about trying to find yourself at a young age and more. I feel everyone has to watch this at some point in their lives.

Old Fashion Cupcake (JP): Adult characters, office setting, excellent acting, good chemistry, only 5 short eps. My Beautiful Man Utsukushii Kare (JP): Nuanced exploration of a familiar BL dynamic, rather intriguing. Pretty cinematography. Yūsei Yagi received awards; both leads skillfully bring the manga to life. We Best Love (TW): Last year of uni setting (S1), corporate setting (S2). No adaption, created as TV series. Strong performances, sharp suits, good soundtrack. No incst! History 3 Trapped (TW): Cop × gang boss action rom-com. Low budget but plot-driven and fun. Both BL couples are solid & no incst ick. The End of the World With You (JP): Quirky, surprisingly spicy apocalypse Romance. Short. Unique tone that feels distinctly Japanese. I Told Sunset About You (TH): Indie movie feel. Long, atmospheric episodes. Slow, character-focused storytelling. Not Me (TH): Rare BL centered on working-class characters. Naturalistic, non-airbrushed look. Occasionally feels like a socio/poli-sci lecture. KinnPorsche (TH): High-budget action drama. Glossy and cinematic. Contains SA, only partly appropriately addressed.
