Ok here is the clarification, Chi Cheng doesn't know that Wo Suo Wei and Yue Yue used to date and doesn't find out till like half way through the show. Wo Suo Wei mistakenly thinks Chi Cheng keeps running into him to ruin his business adventures and stole his girlfriend on purpose. This whole charade he is doing is to make Chi Cheng fall for him and break his heart. He wants to take revenge on Chi Cheng, but he does soon realise later that chi Cheng did nothing wrong and his motives change and he takes revenge on his ex girlfriend by breaking chi Cheng and her up.
