I love how this show talks about homophobia like they do it so well that they don’t need to straight up say the word “homophobia”, but you understand what they’re conveying, especially in the way the parents react to Chi Chengs sexuality. Also I love how open the actors are when acknowledging that this is gay lmao especially Tian (Chi Chengs actor) like a lot of bl actors treat bl as a quick way to fame and they don’t like to talk about it but in the behind the scenes, Chi Chengs actor and honestly all of them are so open to the queerness in the show and it means so much especially with how China is 💔
